Brian redman taking it much more seriously than anyone here 👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀 Oh I would love to drive that car… it and the 906 are my favorite Porsche racers ! Small light nimble, Piechs first was the 906… Imagine an onboard of the temporary targa florio that this participated in !! Ahhh - through all the small villages, on the narrow Italian roads. Much more dangerous but so great !!
Brian Redman carving the Crestarun on his Porsche Skeleton. He makes (talks) his wheel efforts looking so easy. His finned Gulf mouse sounding and looking simply epic. My friendliest regards to Seppi up there. Thankyou 💐:)
Great video, thank you for sharing. I was fortunate to see Brian Redman race in F5000 in the 70's and win against future World Champions Jody Scheckter and Mario Andretti.
Why can I give only 1 thumbs up? Best onboard commentary I've ever witnessed. And then the winner by the wheel of the two races I've admired the most since childhoold in 70ies. I was born in the wrong era. But God bless!
Brian, Thanks for sharing ,what a thrill! Did you follow/race Trans AM racing in the 60's and 70's? My grandfather took me to Bryar Motorsports Park in 1969 to a Trans AM race and I've been a sports car fan ever since.
@@checkeredflagfilms I think he passed a 917 near the middle, but we're talking Brian Redman here.. He's such a gentleman, too (from a couple of brief encounters at Lime Rock).
Clearly, some observers (w/ blue-flags) were required on the course, with all the sunday-drivers puttering about. They'd have been scared poo-less if Brian was pushing it. Or gone whimpering into the paddock.
Brian's having a great time driving at 8/10. Racing these gentlemen drivers, he's like a shark among minnows.
Once a racer, always a racer.
What a privilege to get to see the Targa Florio winning car driven at speed.. Love it.
Not the Targa Florio winning car but similar. The #12 non finned 903/3 won in 1970, driven by Siffert/Redman.

NICE!!! Brain Redman still killing it!!! I wish I was driving that 908/3
I like how he made the pass just before pulling into the pits. He was very smooth and way faster than everyone else...

Agreed. Amazing run and glad you enjoyed it!
My favorite driver at one of my favorite tracks!

Brian has always been one of my favorite drivers,a real smooth racer and wonderful narrator. He’s really very calm while talking and driving. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This flat 8 sounds as good as Mr Redman stays a great pilot. Thanks for this video.
Agreed! Thanks for watching. The car will be at this year's Monterey Pre-Reunion and Reunion.
absolutely fantastic! thank you for sharing :)
i can only imagine what this must have felt like on the nürburgring
Exhilarating and life threatening at the same moment!!! :)
Thank you Brian.

Someones having lots of fun engine sounds fantastic thanks for posting
That has to be the most fun to drive!!! One of my favorite sounding motors !!!
Very well done Brian - You and Jo were my favourite driver-team ever
..the essence of a race car.
Without a doubt
What a car. And what a driver...
Absolute Magic ..safe steady hands.👍
Well done, Mr. Redman! Phantastic car and driver.
The masterful Mr Redman at play.
Pure racing
Brian redman still giving it the welly, fantastic.
Fantastic video! Awesome car!
Thanks very much Matthew!
Siffert/Redman... what a combination that must have been.
Brian, Thanks for sharing ,what a thrill!

What an achiever this combo were...
Porsche has a unique sound.
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Thanks Ben for you comment!
Just awesome
Thanks Sameer! Glad you enjoy the video!
End of an era, the flyweight Porsche.
Makes me want to get back on a track again !!
Perfect for pick up children from school and go shopping.
Brian sounds so happy at the end. The 908/3 makes Laguna Seca have maybe 5 real corners and some bends in the straights.
Agreed. It's nimbleness makes it a much better fit than the 917's.

Well fuck that guy can drive
After 3 laps, where did everyone go.
Gone to file a protest with the stewards because somebody had the gall to pass them. as is usual in American historic racing.
Is there some reason he's not wearing a HANS device?
I would like to see one of these at the Mitty
Porsche should bring that dashboard back... it looks really sexy
Racer vs steering wheel holders
Wonderful only there's a rattle at high rpms
masking that lovely sound.
that's magnetic interference from the cars unshielded ignition system.
Siifert / Redman
I spent 10 years building a Porsche 917/10 Can Am car so I could experience just what he is and I won't be able to drive it!!!
why not???

I've just watched the video and I swear, I'm sexually frightened right now. This car is insane!
😅😅😅a professional driver among amateurs 😅😅😅😅
