@ I'm just being an armchair quarterback brother. I missed the part where you showed the kit. Just wanted to throw my experience out there. Our 64 C-10 is just waiting on me to have a weekend off and it will fire up. I hope that is the coming weekend. It's at my bros house in Richmond off 90. I def wanna link up with you and let our trucks have a play date.
Did you plumb in a brake proportioning valve? I'd like to see a video on that if you did. I've had rear lock up issues on Wilwood rear conversions in the past... a but one were on trucks. What you do is a dying art...and I don't... but you do make videos... I'd like to see how you handle the issue.
@@JustCantSitStill My comment was more directed at the setting up and adjustment of the proportioning valve set up. You make some great videos... I just thought it would be cool for you to do a breakdown on that.
@@ericallen7200 definitely will try , the kits valve is set up for the 4 wheel disc so I am not really sure if we have to do anything special with it. I have not gotten that far with the terrible instructions 🤣 we may continue to work on the rear for a while , I got my Boyd tank to install and we can possibly put the bed back on and work on the wood floor.
Just reduce the pressure to the rear and do some controlled quick stops in dry and wet condition tests.... on asphalt. Last thing we need is a lock up on the way to or from a show.
Make sure you balance the pressure bro.
I've done a few rear disk conversions and faced quick unexpected lock-up.
@@ericallen7200 ok what exactly am I looking for , the kit came with a new master cylinder and proportion valve
@@ericallen7200 no not yet once we move on the the front I will be installing all that
