The only thing you didn't show was how to put back these damn air boots between the airbox and carburetor nice and easy .. and that was the only thing I needed to see .. a big thumb down for that! :))

Good question, put them in boiling water for a few minutes and they become very flexible.

If you put a small amount of WD-40 on the inside of each boot it will make sliding the carbs in a whole lot easier.

Is the 3rd throttle plate out of sync with the other 3? It looks like it is more open than the others.

Hi. all. Hope you don't mind, but I am looking for the MrAquabug video where he sets up / adjusts the AIR SCREWS on a Kawasaki 750. Searched but still cant find it again. Ta.

I rebuilt the carbs on my KZ750 but now the RPMs won't go under 5000. Any ideas?

Check your trottle valves, maybe your throttle cable or trottle valve opening needs adjustment. Make sure your throttle cable has enough free 'play'. Also make sure your carb boot connections are air tight. Good luck!

4:18 I'll give you the REAL tip. They are not philips screws, they're JIS screws. Use the right tool for the job.

A good tip James, you are right. But even then I promise you that they are not always easy to remove!

My 2nd carb leaking fuel by the boot what could it be

Hi bud, your videos are amazing and invaluable for me. Definitely helped me to rebuild my KZ550 (lots of similar parts). My engine had dropped a valve so I had to do a full rebuild. Now she's back up running but definitely have a leak at the intake manifold. Now, when testing can I get away with not connecting the tank and its vacuum line or will that create a vacuum issue?
I'm using just a plastic bottle as an auxiliary tank for testing so I can connect my carb sync tool and have better access to the carbs as well but don't know how to do that and connect that vacumm line at the same time.
    Cheers,
    Rami

Hey brotha, old video and hope all is well. I have a question, is there a way to adjust the air ratio from the outside of the carbs?
