If you paint your bottom board with gesso or a stain blocking primer, it'll cover those letters as long as they aren't raised at all 🤪 I just LOVE your ideas! They are always original and awesome... My brain just doesn't work like that! I have to see it to be able to do it 😂

I don't know if you or a lot of people are aware but surebonder has wood glue in hot glue sticks and fabric glue sticks also.... Which of course I didn't know for a while either.....
Hi Rhonda, never heard of the surebonder. I would only suggest the hot glue you mention if your talking about the balls. But don't recommend it on blocks as they don't seal properly 😉
This is just too darn cute Debbie!!! I’m working on the fireplace now.. and I made some crosses for my good friends!! I also made the hot glue gun stand, that comes in handi when I’m crafting. I don't know why I haven't seen you before now. I'm glad I found you as I was scrolling. I absolutely love this piece of decor. When I saw the picture on the screen I couldnt believe it was done with the TTB. I am definitely making it. I had bought so many boxes thinking I needed them in for crafting. So far I've only made pumpkins. I do also have the larger ones. The L shaped ruler is called a speed square. Makes life a lot easier.
Crafters call it a lot of different things lol

DT had pckgs of small bows on one of the areas where they have the unfinished wood designs in the Christmas section. Also found on another endcap mini battery operated lights that you could string through. Some were minis on the string, they had Santas and other choices. Would be easy to hide the battery pack.
I know the tea lights you are talking about, it had nothing to do with lights itself or the battery pack, it was more the fact of it lite up, that I didn't like.

Hi Genny, the DT sign is 18 inches long and around 1.75 inches tall. You could really use any board. I'm sure your receiver will love it ☺️Thank you ❤️

Hi 👋, it's just a plastic desk mat protector from IKEA. I just buff out stains or glue every once in a while.

I have bangles that I'll make wreaths out of to use as the "O's" or maybe round wooden coasters made into something... Can you tell me about how wide the bells are that you used for the "O's" please?
UPDATE: JUST realized that I have light up LED ball/bauble ornaments that might be perfect, but still need to know the measurements of the bells if you don't mind 😁
They are about 3 inches by 3 inches (widest points)

Hi, the board is 18 inches line, it's a tight fit but you can actually use a little longer board. I made another one for a friend. I bought a board from Rona, and they cut it a few times. So I have extra pieces for future projects 😃❤️

red enamel paint.
@@gennymorrow1865 I would read the can to see if it can be put on wood because it's Rustolium paint it may have not be for steel or plastic.
Did anyone catch the measurements of the wood base? I have one here but I want to make sure it will all fit before going to the store. Thx
The Base is 18 inches in length, but you can use any board if you can't find the one from DT .

I love it! I’ve been meaning to tell you, our red paint here is different, I live in the south in USA, I see so many crafters getting things at their DT’s that we either never get or you find it a year or 2 later! So far I’ve been able to find a few things you’ve gotten, but if I can’t I just go a different route, but it all works out! I love everything you do , I’ve done the scarecrow, pumpkin and witch this year, keep them coming!!❤❤
@@CatsandPaws23 My advice to you is to buy what ever red you can find, or one close enough. Even Walmart has acrilic paint.
@@CatsandPaws23 I know even here, one store to another carries different things. You think it bring a chain it would carry the same items. Also noticed the sizes of the stores there's a difference in selection. One of these days, I'm going to take a trip across the border just to go to DT 😅😂!! I'm curious 😆!!
