Awesome! And also a crowing cockatrice, i will request you to do monsters dissected: olitiau - cameroon bat cryptid video, monsters dissected: arica monster - south American raptor cryptid video, monsters dissected: lizard man of scrape ore swamp - humanoid lizard cryptid video, and monsters dissected: lusca - bahamas octopus monster video because lusca is a sea monster that looks like a giant octopus that lived in the Bahamas, while lizard man of scrape ore swamp is a cryptid that looks like a humanoid lizard, and arica monster is a south American cryptid that looks like a velociraptor, and olitiau is a African cryptid that looks like a giant bat.
What an interesting creature. Good send-off for the first monstrous alphabet! I'm curious what your standards are for monsters that are very similar. I know there's the obvious example with the Ape-men of the world like the Bigfoot or Yeti, but there's also the more specific example of the Owlman and Mothman who are basically the exact same described creature just with a different name. When you find a monster like that, do you look into them both or just focus on one? For a monster suggestion with an obscure letter, there's the Foopengerkle in Kansas who's also called "Sinkhole Sam". They're interesting because they're described as an herbivorous serpent.
It kind of varies. If the creatures are so similar that I don't see myself covering both of them separately, I'll cover them in a single video. This is what happened with the Urus, Anthalops and all saw-horned ungulates for example. I'll also combine them if there is a link between the two, like with the Zaratan and the Aspidochelone (or Owlman / Mothman for that matter). However, since each case is different, and I don't usually have a complete list of similar beings, this standard is not always applicable. As an example, I'm sure I did not list all man-eating water horses in the Each Uisge video. Either way, I'll add your suggestion to the list, seems like quite the interesting beast.
I don't currently have any future plans where such cameos would fit, but I won't say there's no chance for them at all. Probably your best bet is a community monster project, like this one. I intend each season to have a different monster creation process, so keep an eye out for those.
it nice that your keeping the A to Z it make you do unknown creatures can you do the bill ape or the burrunjor
Both from African
Sure, I'll add them to my list.
@@ACrowingCockatrice Will the "P" be the phoenix?
Oh, I already have the realistic version of a Phenix
*eats chicken nuggets*
Want some?
@@matejacosic8686... I mean one that is basically Fawkes from Harry Potter... not a box of chicken nuggets...
Wow I just binged the whole first Season 1 playlist. It was a lot of fun mate, thank you for your work.
This amalgamation is if anything less strange than an average lumberjack cryptid from folklore tales. - Have you heard of the Duck-Footed Dum Dum?.
An odd one for sure, but the Funeral Mountain Terrashot has my vote for the most bizarre.
What an odd creature that I never heard... Tragic😅 can't wait for season 2. Any ideas for the new avatar?
Only vague ones, it's still the pre-production phase
Oh my god, the Discord server was the REAL MONSTER ALL ALONG

lol cool video cant wait for more, good luck with your upcoming stuff.
I faintly remember lumberjacks being an origin story - I've said too much. I expect to be found tomorrow without brain nor blood.

It was actually some kind of a toucan if it were a mythological bird
I don't expect my OC creatures to get dissection videos, but could they make cameos? (Pillar, the Reaper Gull, the Erljack, ect.)

Now I’m depressed this isn’t a actual mythological creature lol.
