@@johndench628 Good question. Islamic belief is prophets are saved from major sins. Prophets are known as masoom in islam. Quran calls LUT Alayhis-salam righteous - When God calls a person a person righteous that means that person is free from immorality.
Now the question is why didn't Quran mentions the immorality the prophets did in bible? The answer is simple - Those things didn't happen and are slanders upon the nodal prophets of God

As I said prophets don't do any MAJOR SIN.
Although that doesn't mean they were errorless. They did some mistakes that were unintentional which they repented from. As for committing such a heinous crime mentioned in bible that for a prophet is not possible as in islam prophets are role modals for a human being. We don't label prophets as SINNERS as all the errors of all prophets are already forgiven because whatever error they made was never INTENTIONAL. As for prophet his mistakes are itself mentioned in Quran. Aisha radiAllahu anha was asked about the character of the prophet she replied
“Verily, the character of the Prophet of Allah was the Quran.”
Quran also says - Your companion [i.e., Muḥammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred, Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. [52:2-3]
Quran itself testifies:
And Verily, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are on an exalted (standard of) character. -- 68:4

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “All of the children of Adam are sinners, and the best sinners are those who repent.”

The way bible portrays the prophet is anti-islamic. There are so many examples were Quran actually corrects the biblical narrative. Do check the narrative about prophet ayyub [job] alayhis-salam in both bible and Quran. In bible job is arrogant and in bible job is patient.
Out of respect and love and higher status of the prophets in fellow human beings we don't label them sinners since when they released their mistake out of forgetfulness they never did that again.
As muslims believe Prophet Muhammad is the superior prophet and leader of all the prophet - greater prophet than Ibrahim, Muse, Isa, Nah peace be upon them all - but we muslims are commanded by Quran and prophet himself to never compare the prophet of Allah in their status and once a muslim was arguing with a jew - muslim was saying prophet Muhammad is the superior and jew was saying prophet musa was superior they went to prophet and prophet replied - “Do not say I am better than Moses, for humanity will faint on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to recover. Moses at that time will be holding the side of the Throne. I do not know if he would faint and recover before me, or if Allah will make an exception for him.”
We mare human beings are no body to rank which prophet was higher since their status in the eyes of god is much higher than us.
In the similar way we don't label prophets as sinner and believe they were the best of human beings and are best role model to follow and all the minor mistakes prophets of God did are already forgiven
