Cleric is Mist’s vanilla class and can use swords.
And a Heron with Blood Tide. Nice.

Randomizer shenanigans aside, I really wish Soren could use Dark Tide on a new game plus and the magic swords were based on the magic stat.
Mist would be more efficient in combat if Staff users didn't equip staves in this game too.

That would be nice, would make it at least feel useful to use or a fun gimmick at least.
