    So it's a Renaissance of Classical Pugilism? That had punching, kicking, throwing and joint locking? Nice.

    At 12:40, from a Mushti Yuddha perspective, I would generate power from above around my head using a swing, landing on the back of the head in the region of the occipital lobe.

    Still in living memory, it was considered a civilized way of settling a dispute. Or more like two angry people agreeing that this is worth a little scrap, but not dying over.
    That manner of solving problems has died out in a lot of places because it’s learned amongst children.

    Holy crap the swings mentioned at 10:15 are so similar to the ones I have seen in Mushti Yuddha, which also has fights against multiple opponents! The parallels between so many systems are crazy!

      If you follow Karate Combat, Luke Rockhold actually KO'd his opponent with picture-perfect swing on their last event.

    Its crazy how one style can lead you to another before you know it. I was influenced by guys like JCVD, Bruce Lee, and Jackie Chan which made me lean towards karate. Then Steven Seagal movies got me into joint locks and throws, which helped my friend to convince me try jui jitsu with him, which led me to doing mma, which made me fall in love with boxing and wrestling...wow what a wild ride 😂

    Hello Master! I saw your upper body muay nam stance in your website,I saw a few problems. I just wanted to ask if I could fix those problems and make a similar stance and call it my own?

    • @GaawutProductions
      @GaawutProductions  8 месяцев назад +1

      Adjust the stance as you wish, the stance is personal and based on you and your way of fighting. There is no right or wrong stance as long as you know what you are doing and it works for you against competent opponents.
