Stevie Zimmerman is to audiobooks, what Merril Streep is to film. …is there an Oscar for audiobooks ? Christie Capps I loved your story, and the addition of Ms. Zimmerman brings it all together. J. Dawn - I always look forward to listening to your stories.

I'm always enchanted (because I forget so easily!!) when I hear that 'Cinnamon Buns/Wed the Cook' story within this story. One of the most endearing scenes in JAFF. I have my own copy of this in audio but love listening here. Thank you so much.

I can’t say that I have ever laughed so hard during the first 15 minutes of the book. The whole quip about Richard’s father was far too funny lol! Loved it!

Same, could Darcy really not come up with a better deflection then insinuating the “fine eyes” he’d been ruminating over might not have have belonged to a woman 🤣

Ok.. Between the three of us i have found a oopsie. In one set of books Elizabeth has blue 💙 grey eyes (chapter 1, this book. ) in another set of boos her eyes are brown with gold lights. ( Sorry. I cannot quote a specific book. ) I wasn't looking for a difference in eye color. The description just jumped out at me.
I can't help it, I am a librarian, so 🤷 little, in consequential distinctions jump out at me . (Her eyes are so fine, as you must realize, it is QUITE Important to get this.
description absolutely accurate, as I am sure you fine ladies complete must comprehend!) Drops haughty upper class accent.... I couldn't help myself you too are so incredibly friendly.. It's fun trying to think of how somebody in this era would speak! Consensus? ❤❤❤😂😂😂

@pameladigaetano8119 I think it is wonderful that you remember the details. Since Jane Austen didn’t provide a detailed description of her characters, we are free to change them with each story if we want. My mental image of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy are not always the same. Thank you for your comment and happy listening!

@JDawnKing ahhhh, this is too funny. I meant to put the letter "k" at the end of boo. Somehow my phone linked up to Grammarly and started Installing that program, so I forgot to go back and change the error which caused Grammarly to show up in the first place. You must have gotten a chuckle out of that. Urgh!! I bring up the pale blue-grey eyes because some days my eyes are that color and some days they are green. Many authors use light blue-grey eyes as being "weak" and "insipid." So it was nice to see an author using blue as being a positive!!! You ladies are wonderful ❤️

Well, it was his blunder in canon that sealed Darcy's fate before he proposed, so this is probably totally in character! @@JDawnKing I wrote a novella that began at Rosings, too, and I find it such a great jumping-off point!

That's absolute truth about the colonel. Good for you for writing a novella. I've not written one in a while. Perhaps it's time to shorten things up a bit.@@Another_Lady
