10 Biggest Draft STEALS In NFL History
The reason Staubach was drafted so low was because he played for Navy and had to serve 4 year and the team didn't know if he would die or get an injury that could make him never play football again
Exactly, Staubach would have almost assuredly gone in the first round if he hadn't been commited to serving 4 years in the Navy.
Do the best rookie seasons of every team plzzz
what?
Ya
Ayyyee I like this one
@@Brother_Bomb thnks
@@jaykwontorres4924 he’s asking for one player from every team that had a good rookie season but the single best from every franchise
I think it's time to take "maybe" out of "Tom Brady maybe the GOAT", he actually proved that it's not about the system or about the coach, it's him.
It’s impossible to compare a quarterback to a different position, as is the case with most positions. There are a few positions you can judge as pretty much the same position, such as different parts of the offensive line, but while I think Brady is the undisputed GOAT quarterback, it’s hard to judge him against a dude like Lawerence Taylor IMO.
@@jebinjames3666 yet teams with only a great qb don’t win championships. Defenses win championships. Brady has had great defenses in almost all of his Super Bowl wins. Also without good players on offense around the qb, the qb can’t do anything. Super Bowl Mahomes is the perfect example of this
@@jebinjames3666 I said in the Super Bowl, oline didn’t help him and the wrs played like dog
@@jebinjames3666 2014 seahawks is an invalid point. The L.O.B won a ring the previous year with pretty much the same personnel and they did a great job in the super bowl. Also a ton of teams with great defenses have won super bowls. 85’ bears, 2015 Broncos, both of the ray lewis ravens rings, both of the Lt giants rings, a final example is most of the patriots defenses
@@jebinjames3666 you also didn’t refute my statement on how teams with only a great qb don’t win championships.
Who would have thought a 6th round pick would have 7 rings😂
🐐
Right 🐐
🐐
It’s because he wasn’t athletic so he was poorly scouted
Im seeing the 🐐 symbol. Just to make sure, were talking about nathan peterman right?
“But here’s the thing Skiup”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tom Brady really went from being a 6th round pick to arguably the best QB ever
The best ever
Its not arguably the best he is the best i mean lets talk about a man with 3 super bowl wins and a man with 7 super bowl wins i mean yeah it will take a hour to talk about No it dont take a hour it takes a second yes i do know about all his records but tom brady is better
Not arguable the best ever
“Arguably the best Qb ever”😐.Bro hes the greatest and best player ever and it’s not gene close
He has a ring for each round he was past up and one more
How come there was no Marques Colston? The dude was drafted in the 7th round and was from a school that doesn’t even exist anymore, and was the #1 WR for Drew Brees for a long time
He can’t mention everyone chile
@@therealcrayz5036 Still though, he was extremely important to the success of the New Orleans Saints, and a large reason for their super bowl win. A huge idol for me as I grew up as well
YEAH HE SHOULD OF TALKED ABOUT HI,
@@jordan3264 Agreed my boi
@@aidenpentz3390 ye but he isn’t a hall of famer and all of these guys mentioned are in the hof or just a whole other league above Colston
The only reason roger was drafted so low was because he had to serve 4 years in the army and that's a big risk because he couldve just died in war and never play in the nfl
DENT WAS BEAR U STUPID
@@tioluis8351 what in the fuck are you talking about you dumbass? I'm talking about roger Staubach.
Tom Brady 🐐
Agree

The voice is legendary.
Nonstop Sports has the best videos, I watch them all the time and rewatch them over and over. It keeps me updated on sorts and cool history. Keep posting great videos!!!
I already know tom Brady is number 1
It’s not in any particular order
@@drpepper7460 technicly he is 1
He’s the GOAT you can’t deny it
Can you guys do a video on NBA players that shone for 1 year then vanished
there’s so many. hed have to make like 3 parts
Great videos nonstop sports
This channel is underated
Thanks for doing this
199th Pick😂
Lol right
Imagine the 49er’s took him instead of Giovanni Carmazzi
Tom brady is the greatest QB ever and greatest nfl player of all time
Hell yeah!!!
Qb yes, player no
@@thischannelisdead3165 who then
@@thischannelisdead3165 I'd have to agree with you.
I think it probably would've been better to limit this to the modern draft only, or at the very least to the 12 round format used from the 70's to 90's. Drafts before then were basically crap shoots and had so many players selected all over the place it is just kind of a mess to evaluate.
I dont like ab because of his actions off the field, but if he can get atleast 900 yards this season in tampa, he deserves the hall. His years in the steel city were legendary, and he was a great guy before his head injury and he also has been slightly humbled since him being out of the league. If he's able to get his act together, he may be a lock for Canton.
He’s a FA he’s not on Tampa anymore
@@joshsobel431 oh really? Wonder were he's going. He would be good on the chargers with keenan
@@joshsobel431lmao he’s back
@@speedmasters And well, now he's gone as only Antonio Brown could 😂
tom brady got drafted by a good team but was just overlooked by gms, he came out of no where and thats why i feel his first few rings are like kobes first few rings
Surprised Terrell Davis didn’t make it. I know he didn’t last as long as the others, but at his peak, he was one of the best backs in the league.
that’s because running backs aren’t very valuable therefore they wouldn’t be considered steals
@@krishiv04 in today’s game, that statement is true. But back in the 90s and early 2000s, having a good back was important and David was one of the best at his peak.
Love how u were straight to the facts. Awesome video.
Great ranking but i think gronk should get credit too
Can y'all do the best players from each position on every NFL team
Example: Patriots: QB Tom Brady TE Rob Gronkowski WR Julian edleman?
the reason "jolly" roger staubach was drafted out of annapolis so low was his 4 year naval commitment, which he honored. when he hit dallas in '68, things happened. meredith RAN to the broadcast booth.
Where is Steve Largent he is a fourth round pick and had most major receiving records when he retired
Damn I didn't know he was a 4th rounder. He also had the most receptions and TD's when he retired. And he never came close to playing with a top notch QB like Montana, Young, Brady, Peyton etc. He also didn't play in a pass happy league like recent receivers.
Exactly
Tom unfortunately never got any starting time until his senior year. He had to share this time with Drew Henson. During practice the only time he got to run the 1st team offense was during the 2 minute drill where he amazed the coaches with his ability to zip the ball to receiver's. Thanks Lloyd (I almost destroyed Michigan's football program) Carr.
How many rounds were there back then...
And when did they change things?
Richard Dent was drafted by Chicago Bears not By Eagles
hears 2020...has immediate flashbacks and ptsd
Bo Jackson was both one of the biggest draft busts and one of the biggest draft steals. He was a bust for the Bucs who drafted him number 1 overall and then poisoned their relationship with him to where he refused to sign with them. He was a steal for the Raiders who drafted him in the 7th round the following year.
Who else was just watching a nonstop sports vid?
Man. You didn't have to call out PV like that. The SWAC isn't a powerhouse FCS conference, but they certainly aren't DIII or NAIA
Tom Brady is a mythical creature lol even adding the 17 game new regular season his stats won’t get caught no time soon
You missed completely that Roger Staubach is a Naval Academy graduate who was required to serve his 4-year commitment to the US Navy before Dallas could use him. Obviously that is going to affect what round you get taken in the NFL draft. I see several people have made similar comments, but it feels like a major flaw in you video.
I am a Seahawks person so Tom Brady is hated a lot in my state
God loves you 😎
I feel bad for the players who are compared to hall of famers and if they arent as good at them they get called busts
Nobody will top Brady. I mean you can make a case for him being the biggest steal of Draft even if he was 1st pick.
It’s possibly the greatest steal not just in NFL history but in the history of sports
Brady has lapped Montana. Sure he was 4 and 0 in the SB. Why only 4 SB games. Brady had 10 trips to the SB. ALSO WON 15 DIVISON TITLES AND 10 CONFERENCE Titles. The discussion is over. Brady the G.O.A.T.
no-one ever mentions that Staubach was the ONLY NFC quarterback to ever win a super=bowl in the 1970's....,, used to be all the talk about how the sper-bowl was a "Given" from 1984-1998 with NFC total domination.... Staubach is the reason why no-one says anything about the AFC total domination of the 70's... 1 qb showed up in 6 , leading them in 4, winning 2, and only lost 2 to the eventual team of the decade by a combined total of 8 points....
Why use “one of” and “maybe the greatest” for Brady, there is no logical dispute or argument against Tom being the goat
Rounds don't exist anymore but the number choosen still does.
Tom brandy not one ☝️ of the best he is the best he the goats 🐐
Give tom brady jerry rice and he'd have 10 superbowls.
all these pics in rounds that don't exist were still earlier pics than brady
FACT BRADY WAS ON THE SAINT LOUIS RAMS BEFORE PATRIOTS
Stop the cap
@@joshsobel431 it’s not cap I read a book about him
What about Russell Wilson
He wasn’t too far in the draft the 3rd isn’t that much
He really said Baltimore colts 🤣🤣
They were the Baltimore Colts.
"Well listen here Skiieup"
UNC SHAY 🐐🐐
This video is proof that scouts do not know what theyre looking for
if tom brady was picked first overall it would be a draft steal
If russel wilson isn't on this list it's not real
Rod Smith is another one...
I live in Ireland y am I watching this idk anything abt the nfl
199 picks but just 4 qb’s picked. Can somebody help me explain it, I just started watching American football
Tom isnt one or the greatest he is the greatest
63RD!
James Harrison?
I don't know much about football
Whats the difference between winning the superbowl and being an NFL champion?
Also, right at the start of the Super Bowl Era before the merger between the NFL and AFL, the NFL Championship was more like what the conference championship is nowadays. The NFL champion faced the AFL champion in the first four Super Bowls.
I’d argue Tom Brady is the greatest NFL QB ever.
Kittle
tom brady is the jesus of football
huh richard dent draft by the eagles huh what seriously
Last time I was this early,OKC traded Harden to Houston 🤔🤷♂️😏😎😒
Proverbs 17:15
He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
Shannine sharp
Brady is the GOAT and greatest steal of all time
John Randle. Not drafted at all.
Brady might be the best quarterback in history but he is definitely not the best football player ever. That would be Deion Sanders hands down..
The top 2 qbs are both steals but they don’t call him mj the goat but he 4 and 0 mj 6 and 0 and Tom 7-3 lebron not the goat 🐐 but he is 4-3 or 4-5
Brady have 7 chips no?
Lakers in five
and now brock purdy
Hwy we still got terry
Terrell Owens?
Where's ma boy Russ?
Brock Purdy ???
Antonio Brown does not belong on this list !!!
Bro, it doesn’t matter how much of a cancer he is, he was a massive steal.
Where was Big Ben?
He went at 11. Not much of a Steal.
George kittle
My mom went to prairie view
Tyreek Hill?
How joe on this list tom wasnt close name star q.
Want know what qb pick first round phil sims . yes 2 sucky qb also but tom case no phil sims
Biggest draft busts
I WOULD still take Montana over Brady. wtf fan here.
Tom Brady #1 go home nothing to see here!
Joe
Hi
Tom Brady is The best all time
Jesus is Lord Amen
Tom
First nice video
Brady's stats are the best of all time but let's admit his skill level is terrible he has never had that big of a arm never very accrute and very slow and also makes no special throws and for most of his career he had top tier talent in both sides of the ball
Please tell me this is a joke. Because 95% of this comment is complete BS.
Put down the pipe. Brady is top-tier in every major category. TD-INT ratio, TDs per game average, completion percentage. Not a very good running QB, but last I checked, teams have running backs to run the ball.
How can you be the 199th pick in a draft when there are 32 teams and in the 6th round. 6x32=192
There was picks that NFL give teams them
one of the first comments yay
I went to the hall of fame
Dak Prescott
