The reason Staubach was drafted so low was because he played for Navy and had to serve 4 year and the team didn't know if he would die or get an injury that could make him never play football again

Exactly, Staubach would have almost assuredly gone in the first round if he hadn't been commited to serving 4 years in the Navy.

It’s impossible to compare a quarterback to a different position, as is the case with most positions. There are a few positions you can judge as pretty much the same position, such as different parts of the offensive line, but while I think Brady is the undisputed GOAT quarterback, it’s hard to judge him against a dude like Lawerence Taylor IMO.

Staubach is the reason why no-one says anything about the AFC total domination of the 70's... 1 qb showed up in 6 , leading them in 4, winning 2, and only lost 2 to the eventual team of the decade by a combined total of 8 points....

Put down the pipe. Brady is top-tier in every major category. TD-INT ratio, TDs per game average, completion percentage. Not a very good running QB, but last I checked, teams have running backs to run the ball.

How can you be the 199th pick in a draft when there are 32 teams and in the 6th round. 6x32=192
