    I just got my bronco and done some real good cooks so far. i did some pork ribs they came out real great. I just need to work on temp control my temp fell down on an overnight cook because I was lazy lol but came out great still. I picked up the bigger basket for that reason now.

    I read mesquite flavor was too strong for ribs. Should I give it a try? Great video. Getting a Bronco soon.

    • @MoesBlackGoldBBQ
      @MoesBlackGoldBBQ  Год назад +1

      Mesquite is going to be a strong flavor to any meat you cook it with. It's a strong flavored wood. Honestly, it comes down to what you prefer. I prefer to use Mesquite. My dad has always cooked with Mesquite, and I've done the same. Mesquite has strong flavor and wood burns hotter. Try the Mesquite, and if you don't like it, try another type of wood until you find the wood you prefer. Experiment! You get to eat all the delicious food you cook lol.

    When hanging meat do you still use bottom stand and ash tray or take anything out? I ask because my rack of ribs is almost touching the charcoal.

    • @MoesBlackGoldBBQ
      @MoesBlackGoldBBQ  Год назад +3

      I only remove the heat diffuser plate. If you're concerned about your ribs, you can cut them in half and hang them separately. Though I've never had an issue with ribs being like half to an inch away from charcoal. Most never burned.

      Thank you for watching! I like to use both brands. I've never had an issue using them with the Bronco. But I will tell you the B&B briquettes last longer while using the Bronco.

    • @bmoc1925
      @bmoc1925 Год назад +1
