In the old days of AM/FM radio, reception was rather poor in some parts of Sussex - this was because there was so much iron in the ground, it would be drawn up, in solution, by the roots of trees. These iron enriched trees tended to block out radio signals, meaning that driving by them with the car radio on, could be a frustrating experience. Great video, gents. Nice one.

Take a Black light torch with you next time .and you will see all the amazing colours in the cave rocks..p.s I love the show .💥
That wooden bridge is pretty modern, made from garden decking it looks to me
What do you think the meaning is of the faces that you very often see carved into cave and mine walls, I wonder if its like a good luck omen or something, any ideas ?

Hi Ian. First of all loving the videos, your intros are particularly good. My question is what does IKS stand for, the missus was wondering.
As i saw the entrance to the mine was that small,and a long ladder,i instantly thought,no way and goodbye and i would not be going in there

Great find guys don't like the entrance though bit small but the mine looks in really good condition considering the age. Great apart form the bridge I guess it adds to the experience imagine being a miner using miners lights digging along amazing really when you think how long if must have taken in those days and so straight. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

The "arrow" you identified is known as a bench mark and represents a reference level for surveying. They are commonly found on foundation stones of churches (often near the doors) in the UK

Chris needs to slow down on single track roads. It's other peoples lives you put at risk, doesn't matter if you don't care about your own.
I was going to say it seemed like he was hauling ass on a super windy narrow road in the woods. If he slid off the road and met a tree that would be it in a tiny car like that.

He was going like 30mph, the camera lens makes it look much faster than it actually is.
