Failing to provide these Basic needs leads to social chaos . Political upheaval and public discontent. Inflated Goods and Services raises cost of living cost hurting many pockets. This will decide voter sentiments in the ballot box. All talk and no cattle will upset voters come elections 2025. Be informed.
If our education system is producing young Singaporeans who are in demand, why the need to issue so many S and E passes yet at the same time having overqualified graduates doing food deliveries?
Agree with PM on our good system but it is not without flaws. And we can improve fuether. Whether govt wants to improve lies in themselves. The cost of living issue has been a perennial issue which no PM want to effectively address (apart from giving vouchers) and it seemed (as Inderjit Singh says) will just be kicked down the road.
