- Welcome to What Yacht To Do, a Great Loop Documentary. Today, Rev and Sam went from Port Dalhousie, Ontario over to the Welland Canal. This is the sixth part where we go through Locks 6, 7 and 8 on the Welland. After a 12+ hour day, we finally finished and tied up at a free wall in Port Colborne.
We are cruising around America's Great Loop and selected a 1999 Carver 504 named the Here's To Us!! as our Great Loop boat. So much goes into Great Loop planning and we share every trip with you. Welcome aboard!

Wow you guys!!!! There was a lot going on in that lock but Capt Sam, you stayed pretty calm. Rev, 258 locks, OMG! You have earned the name Lock Lady! I hope you guys are well and wish you two the best.
Thanks so much Byron always great to hear from you and yes 258 is a lot! 😎
Awesome video very long day for you both! Stay safe 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you Joanne! ❤️
I'm back again with Here's 2 Us for the voyage down the Welland Canal. Very interesting watching the Lock operations while checking out the cool names on the vessels!
Great to have you back! It was a very exciting voyage and wonderful experience.
You are the captain and Bob is a hired crew member. It would have been a good professional courtesy for Bob to have acceded to the captain’s wishes and worn the headset as requested.
Yes, but I understood his reasoning for not wearing it, so was okay with it. 😊
