I was 14 years old in March, 1969 when I saw her in the Dean Martin/Matt Helm movie The Wrecking Crew. She stole that movie. Besides being beautiful, she had the potential to become a brilliant comic actress.

Although a complete distortion of actual events, the ending scenes of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood were deeply satisfying.
That movie depicted how people wish things had have of happened that awful night. To me, it seemed like an expression of empathy for families and friends of the victims.

I get angry and then sad when i watch this and know exactly what mansons cronies did to this beautiful woman while she pleaded and begged for her and her unborn childs lives. Her life should be remembered for the bright shining star she was and not the way her life was taken by
Demonic murderers.
Unfortunately, her name is almost synonymous with murder victim. Even though there was so much more to her than her horrific demise, we still have trouble thinking of her without thinking of her death, too. That isn't the case with celebrities who lived to be reasonably old and died of natural causes. She was only 26 and gruesomely murdered in her own home, and the case still haunts us today.
