La Citroën "Traction" était en avance sur son temps, mais sa mise au point avait été laborieuse, et avait mis en péril la situation financière de l'entreprise, d'où la reprise par Michelin. A l'époque, aucune autre voiture n'avait une aussi bonne tenue de route, mais tout n'était pas parfait, la direction était un peu trop ferme, surtout sur la "15" à moteur 6 cylindres plus lourd. Problème réglé sur la DS19 avec la direction assistée !

At 7:45, after the car has been dropped off the cliff and patched up a bit, suddenly a piece of rope appears tied to the radiator grille. That is very convenient, because while getting behind the wheel, the driver would not have had the time to actually start up the engine before the car started moving forward
