I haven't played any other witcher game and I haven't read witcher lore, I only completed the witcher 3 twice, doing it the 3rd time in Witcher 3 next gen

Sure is. Complex, brave, smart but most important. He's mortal and has so much backstory and character, much more then other favorites like master chief and kratos.
