This scene is so much sadder knowing what Jax was going home to after this. Tara’s death was the death of Jax. The club was saying goodbye to the Jax. This is the last time Jax was the man they knew
After finally getting to watch the whole series, this scene REALLY hit me hard. I had to come back and just check it out again. The song, the scene, the moment just gut wrenching.
Its so easy to forget these guys are acting. Because the feels, the emotions, body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, & of course the atmosphere of this scene alone is simply pure, flawless
Jax Teller was straight G... Only other comparable is Rick motherfuckin Grimes!!! Also charlie hunnam is straight G acting in this. How he didn't win any awards wtf. This, finding tara, scene w Gemma, Juice scene. WOW
I wish I could remember where I read or seen or heard this but I read or heard or seen it somewhere this was like them saying goodbye to their characters as well. And that it was much deeper than just a scene they were really bawling because of saying goodbye and realizing the show was coming to an end even tho I know it went to another season. I'm sure I seen this somewhere. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and could direct me towards that article/video whatever it was much obliged. Amazing scene filled with emotion regardless.. Happy the guy that butchers people for a laugh even bawling his fuckin face off.. What a show
The sad thing is in a way they were saying goodbye to jax because this was the last moment he was still the same person once he saw tara dead the old jax died with her
I'll agree to disagree.....I think its been consistent. But SOA will always reign supreme IMO....the walking dead would have to pull off a pretty incredible season finale for me to think otherwise. But sons is grounded more in reality, instead of science fiction. Sons is a masterpiece
the wire, shield, Justified (lof'nL).......and the rest......not even in the same league as the WD or sons, sorry. If you're gonna put something on your list, at least make it a show that could compete like the Sopranos maybe. and even that show falls short.
People don’t even understand that he took a life sentences for his club and his wife and, kids. ❤❤❤😢😢😢 The worst part is that he didn’t know Tara was death 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
@Sabrina Hutt The club didn't know Jax was going to die at the point. This scene is where Jax was supposedly going to turn himself in to the authorities the next morning for supplying the gun to the little boy that shot up the school. He and Tara made a deal that he would turn himself in (so she wouldn't rat them out), she would take the boys and go to Oregon. He goes home to find Tara murdered. The Mayhem vote came next season after Jax asked for it in recompense for killing Jury.
Who really killed Tara? Was it gemma? Yes, she did all the action, but it was under. Had he not said tara made a deal, things could of been different. It's only a show, yes, but think about it.
So sorry but Jax was one of the biggest greaseballs I've ever seen in my life. Hes the Grim Reaper. Kissing his sons yet he constantly and directly sabotaged their lives. Cheating all the time on his wife with dirty b**#! s. Hes just mini Gemma. The Devil shows up in many many forms.
Should of never took Clays spot.Jax wasn't leader material, the Irish doing business with only Clay being there.we all seen how Jax capped the Irish n then Clay.Stuppidest thing he could of done!!!that's how his ol lady his main boy, n Bobby got killed. Clay wasn't his real dad ,but he raised him like one. There was no way in hell Gemma would of had Clay raise his son knowing what was going to happen. Jax had heart ,but backstabbed his own family.

Its so easy to forget these guys are acting. Because the feels, the emotions, body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, & of course the atmosphere of this scene alone is simply pure, flawless

No words how beautiful this scene is.
When chibs and happy break down crying it makes me feel less of a bitch when I cry.
One day my man you will learn having a few tears doesnt make you a B at all
Jax telling Tig “we’re all good” had me in tears. Really let you know that story line of hanging tig out was put to bed
Jax Teller was straight G... Only other comparable is Rick motherfuckin Grimes!!! Also charlie hunnam is straight G acting in this. How he didn't win any awards wtf. This, finding tara, scene w Gemma, Juice scene. WOW
Damn straight bro best show ever
Breaking Bad' is why he didn't win. Bryan Cranston won 3 Emmys in a row.
This show deserved awards for just the drama alone
I creid so much during this scene. I didn't want it to end. Now a few years later I'm watching it all agon:)
One of the best and sad scenes I’ve seen in any show

@Sabrina Hutt yes!! Same!! Aside from the ending of the series is this one right here!!
@Sabrina Hutt omg me too!! I knew it was going to happen as soon as Unser told her that s*** but didn't hit me until Jax found her
It wasn’t even her death, it was Charlie’s acting that really made it sad
Playing this song makes me wanna cry. 😢

You can really tell that the feelings are real here, they were so bound in rl too that they felt it for real. You can see on their faces
If you don’t ❤❤❤cry like a Madeleine at this scene don’t mess with me. 😂😂😂
Poor Jax. He has no idea what's awaiting him when he gets home. Good lord.

The worst part is that he doesn’t know that his wife is dead! Killed by his mother 😢😢😢
The shit tig and jax went thru that hug was something

Gets me every time.
Sgt At Arms! I always forget his name but he loves the brotherhood, one of the good ones aside from Tig and Chibs

Best show ever since sopranos.
Chips here cries from his heart
I think it made jax cry for real too
Sons of anarchy and the walking dead are the most epic shows ever made, period.
I agree with soa and walking dead but walking dead seasons 5 and 6 have been rubbish, everything's gone to hell since the governor died
I'll agree to disagree.....I think its been consistent. But SOA will always reign supreme IMO....the walking dead would have to pull off a pretty incredible season finale for me to think otherwise. But sons is grounded more in reality, instead of science fiction. Sons is a masterpiece

sons is a masterpiece, Kurt Sutter is a genius

Separation of the Crows
He doesn’t even know that Tara is dead by the hand of the ex president old lady! 😢😢😢
Can someone refresh my memory as to what part this was? It's been awhile since I've watched the show
Jackie Phillips-Helton last episode of the second last season
Jax was real af from the heart but lacked as a leader.
People don’t even understand that he took a life sentences for his club and his wife and, kids. ❤❤❤😢😢😢 The worst part is that he didn’t know Tara was death 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I have a 4 year old son I couldn't imagine having to leave him behind
What song is this?

0:23 I don’t think so Jax …
is this a deleted scene?
No
+Ray Mendoza S6e13 if I remember rightly (y)
No. It's probably one of the most important and best scenes in SOA.
why is he saying godbye?
oh ok thanks!
he's saying goodbye because he's getting ready to get picked up by the cops to get arrested
The IRA wants proof that one of their own has flipped and Samcro intends to give them what they want.
It's about Tara he made a deal with the Police, Jax is going to jail so Tara can be free and be with the Boys!
yeah now i remember, its been a while since i've seen this season!
