thanks for this review! I have been researching planners for weeks and this was at the top of my list but didn't know if I could pull the trigger on a $60 planner and I also didn't realize they were sold at staples, very helpful
Well the good news is you can go check it out in the store if you're still undecided- it's nice to look online but it's even better to look in person, I think!
Thank you for all the reviews. I love planners and just love watching planner reviews lol i decided for a daily planner for my 2022 planner and selected the Emily Ley planner over this Day Designer just because this was too much. Felt the Emily Ley was a simpler to do list format since i am going to use it mainly for work. Binge watching tour videos 🙊
Haha thank you for watching! I feel like EL & DD are very similar, but, as it suggests in the same, the Simplified Planner has a simpler layout which can be nice if you want more space to write whatever you need to.
They are both great planners, I think it just depends what you are looking for in terms of your daily layouts. I also took some pics and put them side-by-side for size comparison on my Instagram (@rwi1) saved under "PLAN!" in case you want to look at them next to each other. Did you pick one of these?
@@RebeccaFaye Thank you! I picked day designer for 2021. I like writing as many details as possible for my to do's so the bigger size seems better for me. I also really like the top three.

I bought mine at Target last year and I believe I paid half that amount.

I use the plastic ruler each day, placing it on the current day and using as my bookmark. 😃
That's a great idea! I need to do that since there isn't a bookmark.
I've been looking at this journal and I've noticed the website has a printout option. Does the journal open to put more pages?
Hey! So the coils don't open up- it's different than a Happy Planner, for example, that allows you take pages in and out. It comes as-is :)
Great review. How is the Day Designer compared to Simplified?

@@RoVicD I like the top 3 too, one of my fav features!
Target has them for 19.99 not 60$
True! The design is very similar but the quality (especially the paper) is quite different. Still, I love that there are more affordable options!
I just found one at TJ Maxx for 12.99, doesn't have all the goal setting but I'll survive 🤷🏽♀️
The paper is different ! Like you can’t use gel pens etc
