Honestly it's worrying. When everything is racist, nothing is. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. As a Hong Kongnese Conservative Christian living somewhere in the west (families migrated very early on), I'm worried the ridiculous open border policy for unskilled, tolerance to radical islamists, who have nothing to do with the likes of me, would lead to a strong reaction. Right now the quote on quote "far right" politicians are talking sense, but how far would this go? I certainly wish to return to a 90s sweet spot, but I'm afraid some want to go all the way back to the 20s.
I share your feeling, the peaceful immigrants from wherever they come, people of non-white foreign origins who are integrated will be the first to have problems, it's always like that. In France, for instance, the far-right party that will probably be the next government already talks about no bi-nationals in sensible sectors.

UK citizens are usually entitled to visa-free entry to Canada, and for the kind of thing he appears to be doing (going around meeting people) that should be OK. However, it's entirely possible that something on his criminal record (the most likely being his conviction for hooliganism) makes him an exemption to that rule and that it wasn't spotted until later. It's also possible that he did something silly like booking his plane tickets under the name Tommy Robinson, rather than under his legal name of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.
