I have owned a 68 and a 69 the 70 is my dream car. Found a 70 AMX up here in Canada but was out a my price range and missing a lot of pieces. Still looking ;)
I owned and adored a 1970 Javelin. The 390 in front of the Borg close-ration T-10 trans and (iirc) 3:91 rear end would skit and git. And it stuck to the road as if it were on rails. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a car quite as much as that one.
I too read the story in MM and had to see the video. Great job LaVine Restorations. My grand dad had a 68 Javelin, as a 10 year old kid, I tried so hard to get him to go for the AMX I sat in, in the showroom. Didn't work, he needed the back seat.
There was a guy here in upstate New York that had one of them spent 5 years restoring it he had it finished about a year some moron slammed into it in traffic he was just sick so much so he just sold it.
That is one heck of an Amish buggy for sure! Way cool!
I own a 68 Javelin. The 1970 TA Javelin has been my dream car since I was a kid. Beautiful car.
I had a 1969 javlin best car I ever owned just fun !
The underside shot speaks volumes about the impressive level of detail in this restoration... what a gorgeous T/A!!!!
That's insane!!

I reproduced the Carburetor Tag for this car. I'm very stoked to see it on the road and being shown. Thanks Travis for putting your trust in me.
This was a great video and who is the idiot that gave it a thumbs down l truly enjoyed the storyline and history recap of the 1970 Javelin...
Stunning
Always loved the AMC muscle cars
Congrats on such a " too nice " of a restored rare car .
Love it. Wish I still had my 72 Javelin and my 73.
Mike ,any information on a mid engine amx, somehow recall they may have built one or two of them?
@@dennisdobin8640 Look for AMX 3 in your searches. 5 survive.
Great video 👍
Thank you!!
Well done video and a great job on restoration. I own a 70 AMX
Thank you!! Love the AMX - what drivetrain??
Wow!! amazing video!!
Great story. The 1968-70 Javelins were my favorite AMC cars. I think the AMXs are too stubby in the rear.
AMC always had unique designs...Pacer, Gremlin, Eagle...and the Javelin was like if a Mustang and a Corvette had a sexy bafass baby.
What a story, read about it in Muscle Machines magazine
Thanks for watching and reading! It really is such a unique and heartfelt story - we are glad you enjoyed!

Oh my, that don't get you fired up your woods wet...
The Daytona pic is an Ambassador.
How much is a car like that worth beautiful ride
My guess would be a start at $1M, and then, depending on who wanted it, the sky is the limit...
