😊. This one I will not sell, I just want more of them 🤪. Good to hear about the arms, I have Read so many places people saying they are fragile, but I guess it's all about what actually happened when the snapped. Thanks 🤩🤩
@@OddArneBjrklundRC Maybe in super cold conditions (like winter where you are ) but most 1/8 scale stuff is bulletproof. You might be reading about some early kits, tamiya made a change to the arms early on. Not sure exactly what, i think it was a long arm conversion or something like that. Only issue i had with mine is the gearbox half screws 3.5 x 25 , part ba28 on page 6 step 8, went in hard and i stripped the heads. I prob should have tapped them first. Other than replacing those screws mine has been a beast.
Thanks for that info. I'm not sure if mine is a early or one with the fixed arms.. Did some driving yesterday and it's so much fun. But I do wheelies when it gets up in speed and it loosens the tires from the wheels. But I learn more about the car everytime so some adjustments will be done and eventually I think I will have a solid fun car.
That gravel rash will maybe polish out with real car cutting compound polish although I think it gives it character and improves it. I can’t believe you are using 6s!. I recommend going to 4s . It will still be very fast and the Esc may have advanced timing turbo mode if you buy the handheld setting card. This makes a big difference to the speed of the car. I am sure that Esc will catch fire with that motor pretty soon and ruin that nice body . Maybe buy a cheap body from another truck and use that for bashing.
Yeah I might help a little bit, but the rash are pretty deep. Yeah I want to see how fast i can get it to run on 6s. But as I mention i will be doing something with the electronics later on. I haven't heard about a setting card, I must check that out.. I have to old body to use for bashing, but now as it allready os "destroyed" the old one I might as well just use it. 🤪

I would love to see more offroad race spec kits from Tamiya. 1/10 and 1/8 buggies and truggies.
Yeah mee too.. I can't understand why they stopped it but I'm guessing it got something to do with development cost and number kits sold.
If you just want to bash it I would suggest trying 4S. It will probably be plenty fast and powerful and the KV is a little bit more appropriate.
Yeah, I would also think so.. Once I find a good place to run it off road I will try both with 4s and 6s, to see what I like the most..
Awesome car and conversion to electric but i m wonder what this model worst compare to the actual model (like loisi or mugen for example). Thx
Thanks , glad you liked it 🙂. To be honest i don’t know.
