He clearly has multiple personality disorder or something, split personality... can't remember the differences between all of those, but anyways, Light COMPLETELY changes over each episode up until 12 when he kind of goes mad compared to the 1st episode, in the 1st he not a narcissist at all, disciplined/gentlemanly towards other people and a pretty normal (EXTREMELY TALENTED AND HOT) student, when he gets the death note it slowly deteriorated
@@zanderaxz5888 there is no "usual" way someone experiences being on the autism spectrum (the aspergers diagnosis doesn't exist anymore, nowadays you only get diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder). Because it is a spectrum, everone has different experiences with it and that means more than just a linear scale that goes from low-functioning to high-functioning. While there are of course criteria you need to meet to get diagnosed with it, the way it affects you can vary greatly from person to person. Many autistic people get through school without any problems and most of the times you wouldn't even notice if someone has (high-fuctioning) autism, especially if they didn't get diagnosed until later in life (or not at all). This is because people with (high-functioning) autism will most likely mask their autism in social situations by e.g. studying other people's interactions or by manually doing the things they can't do automatically. However, this is very exhausting and can potentially cause other problems if done too much. But to get back to the point, autism can be very different for everyone (especially comparing boys and girls), so you do not have to have problems in school to have autism. You can lead a perfectly normal life without any major problems and still be autistic. Source: Am diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
@@zanderaxz5888 Same with most form of ASD.. I think school life can be hard if you have any form of disability/disorder even dyslexia. ASD is probably the most temperamental because no one knows something's not quite right but you just end up being treated like an outcast in the end.
I don't know who is more insane: Yuno for being a crazy bitch who goes around killing people, or Yuki for falling in love with a crazy bitch who goes around killing people.
Well, it's not so simple when you think about Yuno's past. I mean, she was abused by her mother, neglected by her dad, killed them by mistake and went into depression. Yuki gave her a reason to live, so she would do anything (even kill) if it meant being with him. So, I can see why she's a nutcase. Yuki on the other hand, was a bystander kind of person, rather than a social butterfly and his parents were divorced. Also, he's not really the kind of person who is attracted to murder or fights, as he tries hard to avoid them. So on Yuno's end, it's easy to see why she's a nutcase, but I don't get it on Yuki's part. I mean, she kills people for him even if he doesn't want her to kill them, and he's somehow still attracted to her, going as far as to call her "cute". So really, who is the insane one?
True, but for the characters in the anime, that's real life. For us, it's just fiction. So, Yuki is still crazy for falling in love with her. If Yuno was real though, I don't even think half of her fans would be attracted to her if she was Yandere for them.
Missed some: Tokyo Ghoul- Kaneki has PTSD, probably depression, and maybe split personality. The Future Diary: Yuno speaks for herself. Soul Eater: Crona has anxiety. That is about all I know.
Attack on Titan. Nearly all of them have PTSD and Anxiety, Eren suffers from Depression and Anger Issues, Armin from severe social anxiety, and Mikasa likely has Depression.
Hi everybody! Just want to request that you PLEASE don't self diagnose based off of what you see in this video. :) The person who made this may have done research but he is not a professional. If you feel like you have a disorder, go to a therapist. Psychologist and psychiatrists usually only diagnose based off of what they see on the first visit and that's rarely correct. A regularly seen therapist who specializes in disorders will know best. But it's not just for your sake. It really sucks when someone who actually has a disorder states a basic need and is told that what they're feeling isn't real, that they're faking it for attention, etc. So PLEASE, if you think you have a disorder go to a therapist, DONT go around saying you have that disorder lightly. It normalizes what shouldn't be normalized, and because there are so many people out there intentionally or unintentionally faking based off things in their personality (which is normal to have, all humans are different), people who actually seriously struggle are refused help and are being mistreated. Thanks!
Nekros Then you don't but for the love of everything DO NOT self diagnose. I think the worst thing is when someone who struggles to live with the diagnosed disorder is put down and told they're just doing it for attention because of people who just go around thinking "I'm a little sad lately due to a completely reasonable situation to be sad in, I have depression" Or a teenager that thinks that being happy then randomly sad for no reason or being hyper makes them bipolar. It's really stressful on the people who have seen/experienced real disorders.

neither is Ls aspergers syndrome even the spoon was a hint, ppl with aspergers are emotionally connected to specific subjects from a young age and they also eat a lot of sugary food and suffer from insomnia
I’ve grown up living with autism and when I first started watching My Hero Academia it hit me knowing how I grew up similar to him in ways. But when I really got down to it and studied it a little, I noticed something that though probably unintentional I found striking: A boy filled with dreams and ambition, told as a child he can never reach those dreams... He lacks the ability to do so, despite it being all he wants in life: to be the absolute best he can possibly be. But, his mother... even she couldn't say what he needed to hear that hear breaking day... his classmates belittle him, a person close to him despises him, and even his mind believes them all... "what if they're right... maybe I should give up..." but his heart refuses to yield to their words. One day, by chance meeting, a person comes along whom he has grown to admire, and after another chance encounter and moment, this person tells him the words his heart desperately... so very desperately needed to hear: you can achieve your dreams. Knowing Deku is my first ever anime idol, this really makes it even greater to me
You know what, it's been a year since this comment was made but it's still heartwarming. Hope you have a nice day & life that you can fulfill your dreams too!
@@filosof724 I'm an autistic woman and I relate the most to Mafuyu from Given. I think he has autism. I made a whole essay on comparing him to the DSM-IV Autism

lelouch isn't a sociopath. Sociopaths have shallow emotions, no remorse, and are incapable of love. Lelouch is deeply emotional, goes mad with remorse, and loves his sister and friends.
He wasnt emo or stupid, he was a solo player. Without counting that they had only one life instead of infinite respawns, a lot of players prefer going solo even in MMOs, me included. But he actually won the game, he aint stupid.
Kirito never shows a single little sign of depression, the plot and characters are not so deep to have that. He wasnt stupid because he didnt fail, he went solo because he felt better that way and capable of surviving just fine (he dont just felt like it, he indeed was capable). Dressing on black has nothing to do with being "emo", he nevers acts like a edgy fuckboi hating life and cutting himself. If you want animes about depression go and watch evangelion or something, this is not the right one. Even tho there isnt a single anime that shows depression as something cool, because it isnt and its a pretty big issue in Japan.
Light Yagami is a psychopath, not a sociopath. Psychopaths are very careful planners and manipulators, as opposed to sociopaths, as you described with Lucy 'giving no fucks.' Light is very definitely a planner and manipulator. And has a steadily growing God Complex.
NeNeMamas Unlike common conception, it's the other way around. Psychopaths function in society, and are often intelligent, which they use to manipulate subtlety. Sociopaths are non-functional, often anti-social and disruptive, due to their lack of care about anything. People often use the term 'psychopath' as someone who loves violence and destructive behaviour, but that isn't the case. The Joker is the perfect example of an extreme sociopath.
Ori Depoco I didn't say they weren't aggressive, but many are not. Considering 1-2% of the population have either psychopathy or sociopathy, we'd know if they were. Psychopaths specifically are just more likely to control themselves in social environments, in order to get away with it. Either way, both suffer from antisocial personality disorder, both lack empathy, and the ability to form real social connections, and both can be criminals in real life, and villains/anti-heroes in fiction.
Psychopaths are born though, not made. Light was just an extremely intelligent person with normal emotions up to the point where he found the Death Note. Then he became what you describe. I'm not saying he's a sociopath, just that there is a 99.99999% that he isn't a psychopath
i don't think so. he was selfish and seemed to lack empathy even in the beginning. it's one of the reasons i could never finish death note. that and i'd already seen code geass by that point.
Disagree with code geass, he may have gone a little mad, but I wouldn't say he had a god complex, self sacrificing one self is not something a person with a god complex would do.
The steins;Gate theory of Okabe having schizophrenia isn't true. He knows that it is all made up, he just wants to be a Mad scientist (its so cool, sonuvabitch). It's been a while since I have seen the anime, but i think he tells this to kurisu.(this doesn't mean that the anime couldn't just be his imagination, but the schizophrenia isn't the case.
this he even says at the end of steins gate "I still talk like this when im older?" he even makes fun of how he speaks and how much of a chuuni he sees himself as.
I think the schizophrenia theory isn't totally false. In the game it's said in one of the menu (if I remember well) that a part of what he says is due to chuunibyou. But I don't remember chuunibyou as an actual illness :/ So what can it be ?
it was stated that he was doing all the mad scienist thing for Mayuri, so she wouldn't feel lonely and could indulge in the whole "prisoner" act. seriously, understand the game a bit before jumping to conclusions.
"this doesn't mean that the anime couldn't just be his imagination" If we start on that assumption, alot of animes could be "only one's imagination" =P And I must say, that's lousy. I mean, come on! "Oh but it's only a dream/his imagination!", that's fucking awful...there's no fun with this...
I agree that yuki's was the only one on the list that wasn't immediately clear. it was clear that Mashiro had some sort of mental illness but i never considered it might be Autism.
Other examples could be Tokyo Ghoul with things like Dissociative Identity Disorder, Dissociative Amnesia, depression, gender dysphoria, PTSD, etc. Or Zankyou no Terror, with PTSD, depression, panic disorders, night terrors, and savant syndrome.
If I recall correctly, in the manga of TokyoGhoul:Re, Mutsuki tells the guys at ccg that he 'doesn't feel comfortable living as a girl.' Later in I believe one of the more current volumes, Ishida seems to create a sort of stolkholm syndrome in his character which adds to the list in the original comment.
Isn't Naruto hyperactive as well especially if we're talking about him before Shippuden... they even called him the number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja, so wouldn't that make it more of a ADHD diagnosis than an add diagnosis? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong btw.
I mean....just being hyperactive doesn't mean someone has ADHD, it's way more complex than that. It can include issues with short term memory, racing thoughts, attention dysfunction, hyperfocus, emotional disregulations, hyper fixations, fidgeting/stimming, impulsive behavior, and issues with object permanence. Like with object permanence, it's more like....out of sight out of mind, like if something isn't in front of you you might just forget about it. And then issues scheduling, bad concept of time, and executive dysfunction.
@@Chiller-pc1dv That may be true, however it is pretty common. I could 100% be incorrect though so don't take my word for it, and in the case I am incorrect then please educate me.
@@uncensoredmic2768 Yes ADHD, can include hyperactivity, but hyperactivity alone does not mean ADHD. ADHD doesn't even always include hyperactivity, at least visible hyperactivity. I have ADHD, and have studied psych at college level for a while. Not saying I'm an expert, but I've got experience.
I mean I'm definitely not anything close to an expert myself, I said that a year ago lol. Sometimes I post things and don't always put full thought into what I'm saying. I guess at the time (and from some personal experience) it seemed rather common to have adhd and some degree of hyperactivity. I guess it could be a situational sort of thing so depending on the person. If I'm wrong about anything feel free to inform me though.
I'm really surprised Alois Trancy from Black butler (Kuroshitsuji) wasn't on this list. That precious little baby has all kinds of problems. He seemed very bipolar and he also seems to have a bad case of separation anxiety when he is away from Claude.
Ciel also seems to have some PTSD, not sure if it's really in the anime but it's in the manga, since the anime and manga are way different (from what I've heard)
I have ocd and I think Death The Kid is one of the best representations of ocd that I’ve ever seen. His symptoms are personally so so similar to mine and i think it shows the unpleasant parts (eg intrusive thoughts making you go all the way home and check something, like in ep 3) while also having a comedic twist that makes me feel all round less bad about myself for having this illness. Personally I don’t think it’s disrespectful but more a nice representation of my daily struggles. But that’s just me, I don’t know how other people with ocd might feel about it
I have autism, and now I know how it affects me... The Symptoms for autism as described in this video, fit perfectly with me. Though I also have social anxiety or some form of anxiety..
I enjoyed Watamote because it was like watching me with my extreme social anxiety from middle school from a third person perspective. Ahhhh, those were the days!~

Okay. I don't want to sound rude or anything, but Autism isn't a mental illness. I have a sister with autism. It's a developmental disability. I don't wanna call you out and be like: you're wrong! But I felt the need to correct you.

m1saka Was great in social interactions. Had friends. Didn't fail school. Went out often. Hanged himself. Human nature, behaviour and health are all subjects still undergoing study. +Grace Catherine I would agree with Borderline, probably with at least one comorbid issue, probably bipolarity, and possibly PTSD. Gotta love comorbidity... not.
well that maybe true but Alois suffered also sexual abuse, sexual deviance, split personality, abandonment as well as being a sociopath. The original earl trancy took Alois in when his name was Jim Macken, so as a pre-teen he endured sexual abuse by the old pervert. Until he gotten old enough he learned to use his body to get what he wanted. The abandonment was when his brother luca was killed by demon hannah, claude manipulated alois' mind to believe that sebastian was the cause of killing his parents and brother leaving him to be an orphan. The sociopathic tendencies well now come on isn't it clear that kid was too much of a sadist, for pete's sake he gouged out his own maid's eye and repeatedly beaten on her. He had no remorse for what he's done not even until the bitter end.
I know this may not be a big one, but doesn't Yuri (Yuuri) from Yuri!!! on Ice have anxiety? He shows clear signs of it, just thought I would put that here.
OCD is such a nightmare. Almost every single problem in my life (and I have MANY) comes from this one condition, that is very strong in me. I know Kid is a fictional character, but I feel him greatly. People refuse to take him and his condition seriously without realising how mind-fucking it is.
i pesonally don"t have OCD, so i don"t really don"t know what it feels like. but i do know that even the simplest things can turn into a hour. i feel bad when people take it as a joke, and not an actually mental illness. but i just want to say that there are people that know how much of a burden it is, and how hard everything is. i might keep rambling on and on. but i just wanna say you are amazing to live a life with happiness, rather than people like me who are too lazy and complain
I think I've got OCD because every time I play on my PS4 and press the left trigger I always find the urge of pressing the right trigger but when I don't press both equally, I mostly spend 10 min smashing both triggers and goin crazy or sometimes when I look an anime and see him touching the wall with not both but only 1 of his hands I get crazy, bro I feel you...
OHOHO Sasuke has PTSD after witnessing the whole death of his clan? That's it? Oh hell no! He would've been scarred for life if he had only merely seen them be slaughtered. Itachi trapped Sasuke in Tsukuyomi where he tortures Sasuke mentally and emotionally by having Sasuke watch the annihilation of the Uchiha clan over... and over... and over again. Itachi does this within the time period of 72 hours, where each second is equal to an hour to whoever it's being used on. That means that it was roughly 4320 hours for Sasuke, even though it was only 72 hours in the illusion and a mere split second in real life. He watched the death of his clan thousands of times, at the very least. It's a goddamn miracle he isn't brain dead after all of that, or a sociopath at the very least in order to cope with the mental and emotional stress from that much psychological torture.
What about akko from LWA? She expresses severe signs of bipolar disorder, with huge ups and downs with going from extreme self doubt to upbeat and confident in herself within seconds. I feel like some people overlook Akko because of LWA being such a family friendly charming show, so nobody is willing to dig deeper.
I do thank you Misty. As someone with autism, I can personally say it's hard to be in a social environment without freezing up or appearing weird. It can definitely make things hard on the people you care most about. That's why I'm going to school and learning about the different types of autism, so I can help people cope with what I've had all my life. Thanks again Misty for making another great top anime list but with a much more serious undertone
Do you ever have a moment like i do and just think... Holy Shit im autistic when you done something extremely stupid that you know no one else would do
True. Unfortunately, it is a consequence of explaining in as little as possible in order to be quick. It is either that or people turning off or skipping his explanation which is even worse than the incomplete generalized explanations.
msmissjordan1 Siel is obviously a Machiavellian. It's not a mental illness, but a type of personality, one of the dark triad. And he has PTST as well, he even keeps a gun under his pillow. Not so sure about depression..
I'm pretty sure Yu-Gi-Oh! should be on this list. The creators of this show said that Yugi/Atem's character is based on depression and multiple personality disorder. Also most of the spinoffs also focus on mental illnesses (some with more subtle signs than others).
Dude I highly disagree with calling Lucy from Elfen Lied a sociopath. She's actually in love with Kouta. She has emotions, and she feels them very deeply. She's perhaps somewhat psychotic but calling her a sociopath is completely off base. Her entire reason for becoming so cold and brutal and killing people mostly started due to human cruelty and feelings of betrayal. She has deep-seated trust issues I'd say and she also feels immense guilt for what she did to Kouta. She desperately wants his forgiveness and to atone for her sins against the man she's loved since she was a child and tells him how he was the best thing that ever happened to her in her miserable life. She says "the days I spent with you were the only good days I'vs ever known".. And says how sorry she is for what she's done. She also says how living with him as Nyu was great, she finally could be with Kouta without feeling so guilty. She was happy that Nyu had taken over, and she would have been happy to stay with him as Nyu forever and live a peaceful carefree life. I'm referring to the anime version obviously cause this is an anime list, not a manga list. The manga version was a bit different than the anime version. They implied a lot more that she wasn't just someone who was poorly treated by humans and that bad experiences caused her rage and violent behavior. They tried to say something in her DNA was telling her to exterminate the entire human race. That Diclonious are the superior race. Basically, in the manga, she has a third split personality that kind of controls, Lucy. Lucy is technically the one who says it's in her DNA to kill all of humanity so on some level it might be possible to make the argument though that it's NOT actually in her DNA but that she believes it to be and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Personally, I prefer to believe she has a third personality that she thinks is some manifestation of her DNA telling her she must kill all of humanity. It's actually pretty easy to argue she's just more delusional than she realizes. My theory is that the third personality is the one she created to protect herself. That it's the one that sort of eggs Lucy on to doing things she ends up regretting later. If I can recall it basically tells her things like Kouta doesn't care about you or how you feel and convinces her to punish him for lying to her. I think perhaps the third personality she created is a convenient way to say Lucy isn't entirely responsible for being a monster. By saying it's in her DNA it gives her an excuse, something to blame for her actions. But it's just as possible there's no such thing as in her DNA. In fact, it doesn't exactly add up that it is given Nana isn't like Lucy at all. She's not cruel despite being treated possibly even worse for longer than Lucy. Instead of hatred of humanity, she has a desire to protect them from Lucy. She's also very clearly mentally ill by the way given she has a twisted sense of love and adoration for her "father" despite him being so cruel to her for years. He basically tortured her all her life but would give her small amounts of praise and "love" when she accomplished a task and that kept her from succumbing to despair or total insanity. She's a pretty clear example of Stockholm syndrome. She has immense sympathy for her "father" despite him hurting her a lot physically, mentally and emotionally. Even the third Diclonious Mariko who seemed completely cruel and insane was in the end not without some redeeming quality. She loved her father. Her anger and rage were largely due to feeling he abandoned her and that he neglected her and that he gave his love to Nana when it should have been hers. In fact, come to think of it Kouta also suffers from serious PTSD when it comes to his sister, as well as amnesia. Nyu of course also suffers from amnesia because she got shot in the head though she had a helmet thing on that stopped it from going through her head after escaping from the lab. Whether or not she actually had a voice in her DNA that said she must destroy humanity or not, she undeniably isn't a sociopath. In fact neither is Mariko despite being rather crazy and relatively insane. She still has genuine affection for her father she just doesn't show it right away. Ultimately she feels a great deal of anger, resentment, and betrayal from her father for abandoning her and never giving her love, kindness or the affection he gave to his adopted daughter Nana. But to say ANY of the Diclonius are sociopaths I'd argue is nonsense. They all have emotions and have serious mental traumas. Lucy though in particular since you called her a sociopath is NOT one. She's got psychotic tendencies and becomes a bit deranged and extremely violent but it doesn't make her a sociopath given she does feel guilt for at least some of the people she killed. That she sees her life as nothing but hell and misery except for the brief time she spent with Kouta shows she's capable of love and remorse though most of the others she kills she doesn't appear to feel sorry for. (Though to be fair most of the people she killed were soldiers who were working for an evil organization that caused her and her species immense pain and suffering. And even her first kills as a child were while messed up not completely unjustified. Those kids killed her puppy, the only friend she had who gave her any comfort. They took away the one thing that gave her even a little happiness. They also severely bullied her for having horns and being abandoned by her parents. Only the girl who told the boys about the puppy could be argued may not have deserved to share their fate, but even so she probably didn't even mean to kill them. She simply lost it in a fit of rage and awakened powers she didn't even know she had. Pretty much any child would have killed those kids if they had suddenly awoken powers of that magnitude and at that moment hated them and wanted them dead.) You basically took one of the most complex and ambiguous characters in anime and manga and called her a sociopath. Perhaps you did it because you didn't understand that sociopaths generally don't feel emotions or have sympathy or empathy for others. Maybe you meant to say she's a psychopath or something. Either way I just wanted to clear this up and got a little carried away with going in depth into the pyche of Lucy/Nyu/Kanae. TLDR; Lucy is NOT a sociopath and it's a complete misunderstanding of either her character or the word to call her one.
It's also a complete misunderstanding of the Diclonius as a whole. Their natural drive to kill humans (which manifests itself most strongly when they face extreme emotional trauma) is almost entirely genetic, rather than anything mentally-based - it's *literally* encoded into their DNA (and is even referred to by the series creator as being the "voice of their DNA"). Quite how so many people miss this most basic (and essential) aspect of Elfen Lied is beyond me, but I find myself having to explain this to people (usually people who are unfairly hating on Kaede/Lucy) time and time again. I've even encountered numerous people who refer to Kaede as a flaming *yandere* , would you believe? *That's* how badly some people managed to misunderstand the entire concept of the character (and her budding race of people) ... which is simply astounding to me.
Kaneki Ken some socio can create bonds/feel attachment and entitlement to some people, msybe you're confusing with a psycho, who don't feel attachment at all
Actually, there is very little difference (if any) between a psychopath and a sociopath these days, with there being so much overlap that the two are now often considered to be the exact same condition in many places. Also, Kaede does not feel a sense of entitlement towards anyone, so that's pretty much irrelevant anyway.
Well, it's certainly worth a watch, if you can find the time (and so long as you're willing to expose yourself to highly violent and disturbing content), even if the anime itself only really covers half of the manga's story (or perhaps even less than that). But to cut a long story short, all that Kaede (aka. Lucy/Nyuu) wants is for Kouta, the last remaining person she has a bond with/attachment to, to be safe and happy, even if she has to sacrifice her own happiness (or even her own life) in order to see this happen. She did something awful to him when she was still a child (killing his family in a fit of psychosis, spurred on by her natural instincts to kill humans) and now she is simply doing all she can to try and atone for that terrible mistake. In other words, you'd need to be a complete idiot (with close to *zero* understanding for the character) in order to consider her as either a psychopath *or* a sociopath. And it would appear that the video creator fits quite snugly into this category, wouldn't it? Kaede is psychotic at times, yes, as are all Diclonius, but as for her being an actual psychopath? ...Nah. No chance.
the animes barely cover some of them, with the games diving even into a totally deeper level. sure, there's mitarai (paranoia, slight PTSD & self-doubt), touko (split personality & anxiety), mikan (eextreme anxiety, shown extremely more in the games tho), seiko (definite anxiety), hinata (well... personality disorder) and so on. don't try to bring up anime komaeda, his hope talks aren't as long or as intense; he's basically just the carefree komaeda calling himself trash like back in the days before first trial.

As someone who has high functioning autism, calling it an illness is pretty inaccurate, since it's a disorder. Calling it that also kind of implies that it should be cured (I know that wasn't your intent). Plus, I think it would be worth mentioning that autism is on a spectrum, so it's almost impossible to define because every case is different. Otherwise, good video. NB4: OMG SO TRIGGERED. I'm just correcting.
I agree.....I'm high functioning too and I was so frustrated when he mentioned autism in the video and showed it in the thumbnail. I was looking at the 'symptoms' he mentioned and I think it is bad using them as examples because as you said it is a SPECTRUM disorder.......there is not one symptom or even several symptoms that makes a person autistic. When I got tested they didn't believe I was even on the spectrum because certain behaviours I had didn't even match up :/
I know my brother is a high functioning autistic.if not for it i think he would acts like every dumbass(sorry for my french) black 18 year old hotshot that thinks their tough.
By definition, autism is a mental illness. This isn’t a drag on people with autism, it’s just a fact. Any disorder that affects or inhibits typical neurological functions can be labeled a mental illness. This includes depression, anxiety disorders, ocd, and many others. The term “mental illness” carries a negative connotation with it, but many people fail to realize that around 18% of the population has some form of mental illness.
T K Autism is a mental disorder/disability, not per definition a illness. However autism often commes with mental illnesses like anxiety disorders/OCD or depression.
Yeah, it's definitely ADHD. I use to have it (I say use to because I stopped taking the medication for it when I was about 13.) and it is definitely ADHD rather than ADD.
Lelouch has a God Complex but i don't think he's a sociopath, he shows a lot of regret and doubt throughout the series. Light in the other hand, never thinks that what he's doing might be evil and is too comfortable to sacrifice people close to him in order to achieve his goals.
OCD is one of the most terrible mental illness and it's not cute at all, and it also doesn't mean that you are clean and wash your hands 40 times in a day OCD is like thinking that you are really really bad person or you want to harm others but in reality you don't really want it so you constantly fight it
OCD is a lot more severe than most people think. I know someone Who has it, and I have a medium case of OCD and I have Arsberger, so yea... My life is Basicaly a living hell, and if someone notices this comment, then spread my message to everyone! Please, I hate having people making fun of my ilnesses! ;'(
I'm glad too ^^ It really is a problem, and people don't understand that. My mom thinks I'm over exaggerating most of the time, but not being able to fix something and make it feel just right will literally give me anxiety attacks. My family doesn't really understand why the cups have to be stacked a certain way, or why I have to sort my M&M's by colour (I know, I'm weird .-.), or why I have to keep clicking my computer mouse until it just feels "right". It's a serious problem for me though :/ especially when I'm out in public, or like I said before, if there's something that doesn't feel right, and I don't have the power or ability to fix it, my anxiety goes through the roof and I can't function properly. Yeah, certain aspects of it can be pretty funny (aka: my weird M&M sorting problem), but others can be pretty serious ^^'
I know just how you feel, I have a lot of problems like that too ; ; it's really a pain to deal with. But it's worse when people point out or make fun of the way you do things (things you literally have to do to avoid panicking, and in my case REALLY hoping people don't notice to top it all of) You're great for getting through all of that ^^
TheComputerChicken I will make chicken nuggets out of your remains... But seriously, I struggle with having controll over my own body, so please stop making fun of it or me. If it was sarcasm, then im sorry, but I cant handle sarcasm on/about this subject...

Bakugo katsuki( my hero academia ): PTSD, self loathing, self blame, I think there are more but I’m not quite sure Eri(MHA): PTSD Shoya ishida( a silent voice ): social anxiety
Aside from Ciel and Alois, let's mention that the reapers all committed suicide to become reapers. I don't know that it's mentioned in the anime but it's still a fact of the canon universe. There's Madame Red, the servants who (at least Finny and Bardroy) likely suffer from PTSD, Ash/Angela, and Viscount Druitt. They don't have to even be main characters, everyone in Black Butler is messed up on some level.

Crackhead energy nah with aspergers you normally have big problems in school
@@zanderaxz5888 its true, because we can be scared of other kids. Learning is easy but with a lot of noise and/or bullying makes it ridicilously hard
I don't know who is more insane: Yuno for being a crazy bitch who goes around killing people, or Yuki for falling in love with a crazy bitch who goes around killing people.
yuno, yuki has 1 issue, yuno has a fuckton
Veronika Holm Both
tbh you cant really watch that show without falling in love with yuno i dont blame him
True, but for the characters in the anime, that's real life. For us, it's just fiction. So, Yuki is still crazy for falling in love with her. If Yuno was real though, I don't even think half of her fans would be attracted to her if she was Yandere for them.

Thanks!
StarlightN I suffer from depression and people think I do it for attention .
StarlightN I don't believe in therapists.
StarlightN If you don't self-diagnose, how do you know to get medical help?

I’ve grown up living with autism and when I first started watching My Hero Academia it hit me knowing how I grew up similar to him in ways. But when I really got down to it and studied it a little, I noticed something that though probably unintentional I found striking:
A boy filled with dreams and ambition, told as a child he can never reach those dreams...
Hope you have a nice day & life that you can fulfill your dreams too!

lelouch isn't a sociopath. Sociopaths have shallow emotions, no remorse, and are incapable of love. Lelouch is deeply emotional, goes mad with remorse, and loves his sister and friends.
I know right? I felt that the analysis was off. Lelouch probably has some sort of mental illness, but he's definitely not a sociopath.
I agree. Sociopathic tendencies are also oftenly associated with impulsive acts, which I don't think Lelouch--as calculative as he is--shows it.

FirstDragonSlayer hes not emo. just stupid
WMJ hey atleast he survived... somehow

NeNeMamas
Unlike common conception, it's the other way around.
The Joker is the perfect example of an extreme sociopath.
.
Ori Depoco
I didn't say they weren't aggressive, but many are not.
His parents on the other hand...
that would be more like a messiah complex, not god complex
This

But I don't remember chuunibyou as an actual illness :/
So what can it be ?
I love okabe ;-; he's a fuzzy oopa to me but not as good as mayushii
it was stated that he was doing all the mad scienist thing for Mayuri, so she wouldn't feel lonely and could indulge in the whole "prisoner" act.
seriously, understand the game a bit before jumping to conclusions.
"this doesn't mean that the anime couldn't just be his imagination" If we start on that assumption, alot of animes could be "only one's imagination" =P
And I must say, that's lousy. I mean, come on! "Oh but it's only a dream/his imagination!", that's fucking awful...there's no fun with this...
Who would have guessed Yuki was the mentally ill one XD
I kind of guessed it, Yukki has a pretty fucked life, he has gotta be some kind of messed up.
but yuno's the one that is really fucked up
what about yuki RITO?
I agree that yuki's was the only one on the list that wasn't immediately clear. it was clear that Mashiro had some sort of mental illness but i never considered it might be Autism.
It seemed like one of the most obvious to me.
What was gender dysphoria in tokyo ghoul?
nebulasik Well, thinking of it now, it's probably more in the Manga than the anime so far. But Mutsuki and Kanae are good examples.
Sir A.G Mutsuki is literally trans

Mike Rynaski I also thought about that...
Naruto is definitely hyperactive
Hinata tends more to have add or shes hypersensitive ;)
Greats from Germany
Alois Trancy is bipolar and has separation issues
Random dog true
yep
Random dog I honestly think that Alois has more borderline personality disorder than bipolar disorder.
+Grace Catherine
I would agree with Borderline, probably with at least one comorbid issue, probably bipolarity, and possibly PTSD.

Sasuke has PTSD after witnessing the whole death of his clan? That's it?
@@ctrl7881 repeat that again, but in a sentence that actually makes sense.

Hahahha true ....
Even the third Diclonious
Mariko who seemed completely cruel and insane was in the end not without some redeeming quality.
Pretty much any child would have killed those kids if they had suddenly awoken powers of that magnitude and at that moment hated them and wanted them dead.)
You basically took one of the most complex and ambiguous characters in anime and manga and called her a sociopath.
Soon I wouldn't know, I haven't watched the anime :v
Kaede is psychotic at times, yes, as are all Diclonius, but as for her being an actual psychopath? ...Nah. No chance.

Danganronpa has far more mental illnesses than multiple personality disorder...
Also, Assassination Classroom has a few thrown in there, too...
the animes barely cover some of them, with the games diving even into a totally deeper level. sure, there's mitarai (paranoia, slight PTSD & self-doubt), touko (split personality & anxiety), mikan (eextreme anxiety, shown extremely more in the games tho), seiko (definite anxiety), hinata (well... personality disorder) and so on. don't try to bring up anime komaeda, his hope talks aren't as long or as intense; he's basically just the carefree komaeda calling himself trash like back in the days before first trial.

When I got tested they didn't believe I was even on the spectrum because certain behaviours I had didn't even match up :/
Vannie Valentine the different kinds of autism on the spectrum are just all collections of specific treats
