- The brand new HunterxHunter finally got a gameplay trailer released and a ton of new gameplay from professional fighting game players and yet... everybody seems to be hating on this game? Why is that? well today we are gonna jump in and watch gon and killua fight it out to see why!

@@mauricioaguilera3194 they're also reusing animations and wallbounce functionality... it looks identical. which isn't a bad thing tbh cause tvc is a very underrated and underplayed game due to being only on the wii. this is like a tvc revival in a way, and technically also a marvel vs capcom 4 lol
He’s acting like the roster is bad. I remember power stone had a small roster for the second game and it works out when each character is different. People cry if a AAA game comes out because they want it to be perfect and it’s not then they cry and say in these are better lower the budget and they cry when they get a low budget game people continue to cry they put into a series that hasn’t had an anime for a while. It has been on hiatus even if the fans love it. It’s hard to sell even Naruto doesn’t get that much push it Dragon Ball Z sure because non-fans even will play that game, and it functions as a fighter a little easier Hunter is more like an RPG that often in comparison to other shonen.
This game will absolutely be worth the 14.99 sale that happens the week after comes out!

To be completely honest, the bones look good. They need to polish up the character models and the UI. The mechanics look good
Some of the animations and combo strings also look a bit iffy.
A three jab combo string with the same arm is some Budokai 3 type combat.
Honestly if they just add some better shading this will look much better
That can still be fixed at this point, also, this game is made by 8ing so I'm guessing the button scheme is similar to melty blood or dnf duel
@@christiancinnabars1402 Have u ever played any fighting game? He jabbed 3 times, u can do that with every fighterz character if you hold back while mashing light. Same with EVERY OTHER FIGHTING GAME. Its not a string, its him jabbing 3 times so off its the same arm, its the same fuckin move

DLC characters my man. They will intentionally exclude some popular characters and put those characters as DLCs, so Doto will have an excuse to make a video about that character. I can already see the Phantom Troupe will probably only get one representative in the base game and maybe 1-2 as DLCs.

At least its not another arena fighter. If this game does well, we might get to see more anime games like this in the future
if it took 6+ years to get another one after dbfz what makes you think Bandai( who isnt making this game btw yet has damn near all the relevant anime IPs) is gonna start pumping these games out en mass. Also just because they fed us "shit" for years(arena games) and then one day decided to feed us sautéed shit with a side of parsley (nen impact) dosent make it any better.

People always say they would rather have cool gameplay and mechanics over graphics, but people switch up real quick once they actually get it. (This game seems awesome, welcome back MVC3)
Not even just the graphics the roster is not good longevity wise

This is just a demo hopefully they improve this game
Demo = full game in anime games plus improving quality of animations and graphics is completely out of budget
They made Dragonball FighterZ 6 years later and downgraded the graphics by 10 years. Remarkable.

I think it’s more of a budget issue in this scenario. There was probably a pretty small team working on this game.

This game better be no more than 20 dollars because better games are worth that match and 35 dollars with dlc is how much it max can go for the ultimate edition unless the graphics are just bad for the trailer but this is a video game not halo infinite

What makes every dragon ball game great is the speed and pace of executing moves in dragon ball type style. The faster pace and mechanics just makes it more exciting. Only dragon ball can acomplish this

perfect way to describe this game is “good jank” reminds me a lot of Power Rangers Battle for the Grid! that game wasn’t anything visually but gameplay wise to this day might be 1 of the best tag games ever made the mechanics are wild

Looks fun to me and i haven't played a fighting game in 6 months 😂
The game might not look the best but it does look very enjoyable to play along with your friends. In regards to the supers, I feel that it might have similar treatment to Tekken 7 where their ultimate didn't look great at first but as time went on they got better. Ask for more characters, I think it should do the same as one piece burning blood where they had an extra section at the bottom right for extra characters.
