- They made a new JJK game and its awful. Jujutsu kaisen cursed clash has finally released and even though I can play as yuji, gojo, or even yuta the game still seems like it has a long way to go to being fun....

If I’m being completely honest with you, the game isn’t really bad. It’s actually fun.
My favorite part of Doto's stream on this game was, well for one, when he roasted tf out of Jogo and Hanami's tag super. But my favorite part of Doto's stream on this game that actually involved him playing the game was at the end when chat had a whole ahh campaign to have him refund the game.

I bought two copies because my wife and I were excited at the idea of a 2v2 game based on our favorite new gen. Now were actually really enjoying it and i have a group of friends that all are playing it and having fun, but it could definitely do with some improvements. Faster recovery, more combo potential, and a side of SPLITSCREEN would be nice. Cause as is, when you have a match between players who understand the characters and matchups it becomes insanely fun and tactical. Such a shame bandai didnt give these guys more time to cook, and a bigger budget

I’m glad that you actually understand what a budget is. People are hating on it based off looks. It’s not a bad game at all just clearly had a lower budget. Obviously it has its problems but what online games don’t nowadays.

@@StrawHatCentral funny thing is I would argue the game itself is not bad. There are so many interesting gameplay opportunities in the combat itself. Every match at higher level play is essentially a chess match with the other players. In many ways it really emulates what JJK battles are in the manga and anime. Just way slower paced. What's here is actually really good at its core just not refined.
I truly believe the game itself is good, but just too different and technical for the majority of players who are used to a casual Storm style arena fighter. There's nothing wrong with Storm's style mind you, it's just a breath of fresh air to have a new kind of arena fighter

A lot of the complaining is just because its cool to hate on new things, ESPECIALLY because the graphics arent AAA. But nobody who actually understood the gameplay will tell you its boring or ass.
They really want another goober game staring at frames, getting juggled in a corner, and using the same exact 1 character forever because he has an infinite or the fastest frames or the best armor move
Fighting side scrolling games are just rhe same thing to me, and the verticality doesnt even exist to the extent a real jjk fight would look like but they want devs to make some shitty tekken kaisen clone game

1. Because its easier to make arena fighters to the point they can spit out multiple within a few years.
2. It apparently does make a profit regardless of how lazy it is. It banks on the fandom wanting to play as these characters and they do enough to make sequels.
3. Regardless if a fighting game would bring in more money they dont want the hassle of dealing with making a fighting game. They were willing to do it with dbz because its their most profitable ip and would risk it. Even with fighterz popularity you still dont see them making a sequel because it was probably a one time thing.

Man, this game plays a LOT like Crash Team Rumble. I think the devs took a little inspiration.
Its also very inspired in Dissidia Final Fantasy. The problem is they really failed on that inspiration.

Haven’t played it but I love the manga/anime series- I was hoping for a fighting game, or any game in general for this series to be amazing since it’s such a hit.
It’s pretty fun definitely with a duo to either play for fun or be serious.
PvE co-op can be enjoyable when it gets harder.

I get all the hate for this game, but man do I love playing in the upper ranks with people who actually know what they're doing. Executing combos and setting them up with my teammate is just enjoyable to me. I do see myself getting bored of this game in a couple days once I've done just about everything I can do.
It’s people that haven’t experienced it for themselves to it’s fullest extent. They see some gameplay and because the content creators are trash at it they think it’s bad along with other things.

My gf made me watch JJK, for context, I hate anime, I actually really liked JJK, and when I saw JJK game I immediately got it, extremely disappointed, terrible voice-acting, copy-paste lazy and boring story, dull and extremely repetitive gameplay, the whole game is the same mission over and over and over again, I really wish we had gotten a good JJK game… and the potential is extremely big since it’s an anime, hope we get something good in the future

It was a gg I already hate the game I mean when you see some fancy moves, team fights and a character running and hitting, I see the op classic go to two characters to dominate matches without challenge, bad outdated mechanics, trash graphics, clunky gameplay with 0 possibility to really combo and a 1v1 dead and pointless fights.
Little + the story mode is a shame give, the license to Cyberconnect.

Every video I watch from you I get an ad right as either the coolest thing is happening and I have to scroll back to see it in full or an ad happens right as you make a really funny joke and that kills the comedy. Honestly I don't think anyone other than dragon ball fans care about sparking zero. Really haven't seen anyone but that fanbase be hype about it. That makes sense given the genre though.

Man, idk if I'm just looking through a nostalgia glasses, but I think that older anime games had more passion than these newer entries. I remember staying up all night trying to beat Kid Buu in Budokai Tenkaichi in my cousin's house. How doing a spirit bomb on a certain part of the map will cause the world to "end" and the whole area becoming a barren apocalyptic wasteland. Or how you can't beat Orochimaru as the 3rd Hokage in Naruto Ultimate Ninja unless you finish him off with the reaper death seal. Older games just have something more to them.
Notice how you brought up 2 specifics in games you grew up with. Of course it's nostalgia talking. Obviously we only remember the really great (or really garbage) stuff from the past. In 10 years people our age will be saying the exact same thing about current games.
It's pretty fun, it can definitely improve, and it's likely to!

I first heard about this game from an ad on the xbox store. I check it out, no trailer, no screenshots, nothing to tell me what the game actually is. What I did find was a description of what outfits I’d get for pre-ordering. And like that I lost all interest.
