The Star Wars fandom seems to get very attached to a certain vision of things, and they invent their own idea of how the story is to be progressed, and then when canon goes in a different direction they will TEAR the fucking world down. I also think there is an uncomfortable subset of the fandom that likes the Empire for more than just their fashion sense and interior design...

There's some behind the scene footage of Ewan McGregor being visible agitated by what he's supposed to be conveying because of all green screen stuff combined with lack of direction. Even actors from the original trilogy have critiqued Lucas' lack of direction, most prominently Harisson Ford. I remember an interview with Ford from a SW where he explains Lucas' lack of understanding the actor's frustration with how they're supposed to be delivering dialogue.

I'm quite similar to him in that fashion, I can say personally I notice my own aging which kind of freaks me out when people who are 10 years younger than I am say I look younger than them. I'm kind of an expert on the manner and I think the key area is to always look around the eyes. Theres also a general widening of the face that occurs in aging as well as increased nose size. He looks older and he sounds older but he has aged well. I think a key factor is that some people might have bad genes but they also have terrible lifestyle habits which exacerbates aging and normalizes this cultural idea that everyone over 35 is supposed to look like shit or noticeably be old at that point. At 34 I feel old only in the matter that im very dissapointed with how the world turned out not to be what I thought it was, in that I feel like my soul is 77. The bad guys who rule this planet make Dark Sidious look like a joke.

I’m so glad the younger generation grew up and he now gets the fanbase he deserved but was too young to have a voice back then. The prequels have their issues, but Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars movie and I’ll die on that hill. Empire Strikes Back is a close second, but not topping that.

With the entire Star Wars story in mind, along with the music and his emotions played, it was one of the best scenes ever and really reminded me of the scene in the final battle in Episode 6 when Vader finds out about Lea. This "NO" from Luke, along with the music... EPIC
