It would have been the norm for all British subjects to be invited to meet and greet and attend any events. I am so pleased that this didn't happen. I live in Africa and regret to say that ground level feeling have been hurt and whereas today will be forgotten with the people at the top, the resentment towards the British Royal Family wll stay with the offended general public, particularly the children who were snubbed.
Those have shown everyone they only care about themselves.
