I wonder where will the R211Ts assigned to the C train run during the late nights. One possibility is to combine R211A rear 5 and R211T first 5 on the A train the other set running Euclid to Lefferts shuttle and then combine the two 5 cars sets of R211T as the first Lefferts to UWS 207th st connection to Bx12

I think people overestimate how hard it is to shoot that far on a moving train, unless you have specialized war weapons in which case it doesn't really matter if there's open gates or not. But ultimately, active shooters shouldn't happen in the first place (and thankfully NY has pretty tight gun laws so it's not as common there).

Anybody with even a basic skill level with firearms can light people up with anything from a pump shotgun, to a handgun with iron sights and red dots. Then there's rifles.
LOL.. specialized war weapons! You anti gun people constantly find a new low on what you people actually know about guns.
PS. The military for example sidearm is a sig p320 . It's a 9mm handgun. The military also uses a Mossberg 590a1 shotgun. Which you can buy or a cheaper version of the 590. Or a 500 series... Or a maverick 88 which is mostly the same for 20 bucks.
Rifles are being replaced at the moment but they're essentially ARs. The new guns aren't ARs but they're similar enough that as far as the battery of arms and operation of it. It's an AR.

I like that they are helping the disabled and they have cameras. Does this mean they will catch actual criminals? I think they need a law that you can’t cover your face. Since masks don’t work against Covid , of course the only people allowed to wear them should be people with medical needs like cancer patients or those with immune issues. But these guys cover their faces to hide from their crimes.

You have a very good point. However it's not society's responsibility. It falls on human exercising eugenics. Prevention. Don't put it in the front door. Use the attic or the back door. Forgive my bluntness.

And of course, there will be your share of New Yorkers who will find some faults with the new cars for various reasons based on personal fears and self loathing.

LOL. Like when she gutted a right to repair bill on the final hour that had almost 100 percent bipartisan support.
And she killed the bill with her lobbyist pals.
Or the way she feels about your 2a rights.
She's corrupt and stupid. Even for Democrat standards.

I don't care, the older ones are better cause they got more seats. Shame on the MTA. Why everyone is so impatient that we have to make wider doors and less seats for Speed instead of comfort.@@durece100
