What do you do to the plywood floor before putting the cement on it? Do you seal it? After all the flooring is complete do you put some type of sealant over it? Looks very cool!
The cement is notil mixed that way. This is Topping cement which has a polymer in it that holds things together better (quickrete topping cement...other brand will do but that's the best) and we added a bit more polymer that is often called "milk"

That looks great! I was looking through videos because I want to do this to my concrete porch outside. This is the best looking option that I've seen.

That floor is gorgeous. My first reaction was how are you going to seal it so it can be washed.
I meant to add that...there is a concrete sealant that you can get at any hardware store that I will be putting on it, so it can washed regularly.

How is it to stand on concrete floors all day. Your legs and feet get tired. And varicose veins get worse.
I hand make rugs and don't stand around much, so after walking on it for two years I have no problems. :-)
