In 2030, the Pelham Line may receive the R142’s and R142A’s. When the R262’s enter revenue service, they’ll probably put them on the 2 and 5 trains given the fact that the only pictures of the R262’s there is is an R262 5 train, and since the 2 and 5 trains share a fleet, the 2 and 5 will probably be the first lines to receive the new subway cars. More R262’s will most likely be put in the 3 and 4 trains too, not to mention the Times Square Shuttle will receive some of the new cars too. This probably means that the R142’s will go to the 1 and 6 lines. There will also be no change on the 7 train most likely because they have converted R142A’s into R188’s that have CBTC.

Um no this was only because rhe (6) was split in 2 sections day of recording this G.O won’t be happening anytime soon
