- Manhattan and Pelham Bay Park bound R62A (6) Trains, and 3rd Avenue bound R142, R142A and R62A (4) Trains with Work Train @ Whitlock Avenue
Taken May 28th / 29th
Planned Work: Because of Track Maintenance:
1. There were no (5) Train Service between East 180th Street and Bowling Green. (2) and (4) Trains provided alternate service
2. (4) Trains ran in two sections:
-Between Woodlawn and 125th Street
-Between Utica Ave / New Lots Ave and 125th Street, and via the (6) Line to/from 3rd Ave-138th Street

Honestly, that shot at 6:16 reminds me of the 7 train, when the R62A's and R188's ran together.
Same Those where good times but now the R142a on the 4 And 7 Lines and R62A is now on the 6 line

Which line will get R262
The R26S will probably go to the 4 5 2 S with open gangways. The R262AS with close gangways will probably be on the 3 6 1 lines .
Maybe the 7 Flushing line might get some R262AS with close gangways just like the R211AS. I have a real spriital feeling that they are definitely gonna make the R262AS I'm telling you. The R262s is not gonna be 100% open gangways. It's gonna be both open gangways R262s and the R262AS is gonna have close gangways. Go back and read about the R262s very carefully.
I had read the whole entire article my self. I'm just letting all of y'all know.
They have to find a builder and company factory who is gonna build the Brand New R262/AS .

But R142A 2 Trains are Save In (6)
I remember the R142as on the Pelham 6 line. No matter how many R62AS they have back on the Pelham 6 line. The R142as still fits on the Pelham 6 line. We do respect the R62AS back on the Pelham line which is 100% true. Nothing cannot replace or take over the R142as on the Pelham 6 line anymore. However the R262/as will come real soon. Start appciating the R62AS back on the Pelham 6 line just like they had the old Redbirds.
Who remembers the 8 Thrid Avenue Elevated line?
I missed my Childhood R142A 6 Train but now R62a my childhood 7 train is at Westchester yard sadly and R142a on 6 lines is now on the 7
