- Patriotic & 4th of July WOOD DIYS! If you’re someone who likes to work with wood or you have too many scrap wood pieces, check out these wood DIYS! I put in a mix of wood DIYS that needed power tools as well as other wood DIYs that you wouldn’t need power tools for. I know a lot of crafters don’t have power tools so I wanted to make sure that you could all recreate some of these DIYs. There are tons of wood pieces that you can buy at craft stores like Michaels and even Walmart for a pretty affordable price. If you don’t have any scrap wood, some good places to check for free wood is on Facebook MarketPlace, or you can even go to your local department store and ask them if they have any reduced priced wood or scraps.

I use the star sticker method and if there is a little bleeding I look at it as accidental distressing lol I usually make my items look very old so it works! 😁

Hi Virginia! I think it really depends on what you're looking to do with it. Hobby? Small business? If you're looking for more of a hobby machine I'd go with glowforge. If you're looking for a small business I'd take a look at Omtech.
