"You really got to show off your sword skills and rock that horse" Did anyone else get that innuendo when they were talking about how to impress a woman or is that just me
What people don't know are the Saxons were just like the Danes when they arrived on the shores of England Saxons are from the part of Germany that's next to Denmark
True but that was just a ethnic tribe reflecting a common Germanic cultural link (of the nation that was to become known as England). However, by then most of Southern Britain's inhabitants were descendants of Germanized Celtic/Pre-Celtic inhabitants.
Everybody over the age of 10 knows that the Saxons were, like the Danes, Germanic people. The Jutes who settled in Kent were also Germanic people mainly from Jutland in what is now Denmark. They are not the same as the Geats as they are from Gotland, now part of Sweden.

@@Spartanübermensch Yes, from what is NOW Northern Germany ( Old Saxony ( Holstein etc. ). + Schleswig & S. Jutland ) , Holland, Frisia ( coastal regions ) and the rest of Jutand, but they were culturally and linguistically related GermanIC tribes, NOT Germans! This was long before there was any remotely recognisable German language or German states / empire.
Aelswith cracks me up. I want more behind the scenes with Aelswith. It's disarming because her character is such a pain, but her actress is a delight.
"Get on your knees and pray with me" lmfao that is funny
David Cavill She is too good for god 😂👌
"Kill and then well pray to God" 😂 Ælswith is giving me life 😂😂😂😂😂
Edit: I was unaware of Beocca's accent. It's undetectable in TLK
He played John Lennon in a movie.
"Dont you know who my father is?" Good chat up line from the Saxon.
“A choppy bowl haircut, not working out very much.” 😂😂😂
Haha love how they've all stayed true to character
0:31 I love how she says "And then pray the god" after saying all those cruelties. 😂😂
“The way to a woman’s heart is through a choppy bowl hair cut” ☠️😂🤣😂
Aelswith the character makes me want to stab my eardrums but the actress is amazing. lol
I like how Æthelwold is basically just recounting his own escapades.
Still don’t know what the points were rewarded for
just for points XD
If whoever did this video agreed with them I think 🤣
Humping, killing and drinking Ale.
Points for more ale barrels a barrel a point 😅😂🎉
Harry's answers are the most entertaining especially on how to impress a woman.. I wonder if he's dating anyone...?🤔
are you praying he's gay too? i sure am lol
"Get Uhtred to do your hair in a nice plait" 😂
"You really got to show off your sword skills and rock that horse" Did anyone else get that innuendo when they were talking about how to impress a woman or is that just me
How do you cure a hangover?
Aelswith: Eat gruel and pray to God
Father Beocca: bacon sandwich
its a shame season 2 is over, it ended so fast! Can't wait for season 3!
Idk how many times I've seen clips of this and I've just now found the video
Sithric, Filan and Uthred are my favrite characters. Oh, plus Erik! What I despise the most : king Alfred’s wife some of the disrespectful priests. 🤓
Beocca just doing a little lite fathering on the side with that chat up line answer, love it.
What do you so if your daughter is naughty? "Lock her up in a room without food for about 3 or 4 days..."
Father Beocca dispenses true wisdom
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Bjorn is the best
Rafaela Haddad and handsome!
@@jocelynjones4358 - Not sure about that (though fair enough if you think so!)... But he reminds me of a younger Brian Blessed.
Ælswith is hilarious
Has anyone else realised that ( Ian hart ) Beocca was also Quirinus Quirrell bad guy from first HARRY POTTER?
I did

1:12 c'mon, we all know that what works on Aelswith is a softly spoken "I've been thinking of Northumbria".

Uuughhh Sigefrid.... **sighs**

OMG Harry!! Man after my heart!! Lmfao!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

i dont really like Aelswith (her character) in the series but her actress is so funny!
Aelswith is a Gainsborough girl through and through.
does anyone know if there will be a season 3?
There won't be :(

People actually do know that
People know this. Saxon and Danes were pretty much cousins, only thing separating them was religion
