Season 2 was an absolute car crash. The writer, Butterworth, totally ruined the franchise with a nonsensical second season. Koba might as well have chocked to death consuming his burger as he went from a fearsome, ruthless, helicopter gunship wielding enforcer, to forming an alliance and turning into a polite, passive pussy. One of the worst written decisions ever seen on screen. The integrity of the story immediately capitulated. There were no reprisals fron the investors and London's streets were not replenished with heroin - which are both ridiculous.
Agreed, season 2 was so farfetched, i cant imagine what they are going to do in season 3. Maybe the gay heroin addict brother will magically grow a new arm.
Both were great. It's all about cut throat gang life, stabbing in the back, taking new sides that have the largest armies just to use them. Season 2 was better than 1 in my opinion.

They obviously don't get that power, status and last not least money is all these people cares about. Hence why there's so much backstabbing, murders, drugs, and @ss kissing.

His character makes no sense, and it’s almost like he forgot his undercover handler, like she didn’t ride for him multiple times. Also, her getting out of prison is so stupid. The shows plot really let it down
Season 2 is a complete shitshow. Everyone just backstabbing tf outta each other. Could be interesting plot points. But just cannon fodder to... shit storytelling. Season 1 was sooo good.
I do not like the fact that Elliot ends up the Boss of the table he didn’t deserve it like Sean did Sean knew who he was which was the bad guy Elliot was a snitch and tough guy just to get mad because his karma came back he does not deserve the seat in my opinion
If you judge Elliot for being a " Snitch," you would have to do some serious reflecting on Sean... Elliot had an honorable job. Sean had help every step of the way and still fell.... Did you forget forget he couldn't pull that trigger in the flash back.... He didn't take out his mom out for her betrayal. In that life that is what you must do, he couldn't touch Elliot in season 2 after he essentially offed him. He betrayed his right hand Lale he was shivering in his boots next to Koba... Recall his brother told him to let Lale go.... All of that in conjunction he wouldn't last a day in the power universe! If his dad didn't die he would have been a shadow.... Elliot is the perfect personification of a " pawn to a King" Additionally, Sean ruined the Element of surprise... Proper story telling Elliot should have smoked him when he saw him and his brother on the docks! To say he deserves it like saying someone who "stole" the money in the bank contract deserves the title after cashing in on injured champ! That's blasphemous! Power isn't given! It is taken! Elliot took it! It wasn't because of his dad his story and his dad's was about being a pawn. I could go deeper but that's enough.
you must’ve forgotten the time when Luan killed all the armed Nigerians in the hotel room with ease, or the time Alex jumped off the side of his building out of fear of getting killed by the investors, or the time the Somalis were killed in the warehouse, or the time Koba tortured and nearly killed Ed Dumani. The shows called Gangs Of London, not “White Gangs Of London”, go watch Peaky Blinders if you don’t wanna see black people on your screen lol. Luan, Sean and Lale are literally 3 of the most OP characters in the show aside from Elliot and they aren’t black 😂 just say what you really wanna say and stand on it, instead of whining like a little brat coz you didn’t see enough blacks get killed on tv lol.

Storyline didn't make sense towards the end in season 2. Season 1 was at its peak so far.
Same. It got too confusing in what the goal was that they were trying to achieve. Season one is 10/10. Season 2 is a 7/10

It made sense for the fact Sean screwed up by betraying Lale and had Elliott's father murdered.
Season 2 dropped the ball. Season 1 is amazing

This show was the Riverdale of crime thrillers. What started out as a simple murder mystery spiraled out into increasing nonsense.
