Sir I am also a pianist but I want to make myself more better in music so I also decided to learn violin. Is this decision is good because I have already a knowledge of piano so it will be easier to learn violin. I have also think to learn guitar but I know it is it is mostly played instrument so I prefer violin.
If you get something down practicing 7 times in a row and then come back to it and make a mistake. How do you recommend to practice that part? Seven times again or something else?
Yes my lovely, this is what I will do & when I can play something easy and short without making a single mistake I will report back, but it will be a first! At the same time as playing lots of/enough times using music, are you also learning the piece by heart (or just some of the pieces once you have mastered a few)?
Practice doesn't make perfect. But perfect practice makes perfect.
