Thank you. I wanted to include few more models but it would turn 8 minute Brief History into a 45 minute episode. Because once I dove into Sharp, Hitachi, Aiwa and some 90s Sony models, I fell into the vcr rabbit hole.
The best stage of video was the "mom and pop" stores of the late 70's/early 80's. These were video tape stores that basically anybody set up, long before Blockbuster which in my opinion was a cold place, the early stores popped up everywhere, golden memories for me.
