  • Here's a quick walk around of the 1992 MITSUBISHI Delica Chamonix L300 4wd Van produced by VANLIFE NORTHWEST, in Portland, Oregon. Interested in purchasing this adventure mobile? Visit www.vanlifenort...
    /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    My personal favorite of the L300 series Delicas, the Chamonix model features tastully tacky upholstry, and off-road upgrades such as a limited slip rear differential. With Mitsubishi's 4D56 turbo diesel engine, 4wd, and high clearance, this Delica has everything you'd need in a go-anywhere adventure mobile.
    Much love went into making this van 'road-trip-ready'. Consistent with all the vans we sell, she has received a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new balance shaft belt, new tensioner pulleys, new camshaft and crankshaft oil seals, new balancer shaft seals, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, transmission oil, transfer case oil, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh differential oil. On top of all that, she has brand new all-terrain tires, and all coolant carrying lines have been replaced. Many other smaller repairs and upgrades were made during the inspection and testing process, including a full front brake job.
    A large part of what you gain when purchasing from Vanlife Northwest is our knowledge base and experience throughout the life of your vehicle. I can confidently say no one in the US has more hands-on experience with these vehicles, and solutions for problems gleaned only from that first hand experience.
    Feel free to contact us with any and all questions. The van is located in Portland, OR. Clean Oregon state title in hand. The truck is fully legal and titled in our dealership's name. This van is RHD (right hand drive) but is very easy to get used to. Although the steering wheel is on the right side, the control pedals are oriented the same as a standard domestic vehicle (gas pedal on the right, brake in the middle, clutch to the left) so your reflexive driving skills are preserved. This is a JDM import, similar to the domestic Toyota 4x4 vans from 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989, or like a Town Ace, Master Ace, LiteAce, or Mitsubishi Delica. You VW Volkswagen Syncro Vanagon and Westfalia camper guys would digg this thing as well.

    Chamonix(ski town in France) is the cold weather spec model. Dual battery, extra insulation, thick carpets, LSD, then decked out with the corresponding paint colors, chrome mirrors and bumper/bars, decals, chamonix upholstery/embroidery....often high roof without sunroofs.......and those carpets! Please, showing sticker is fine, but should do donuts to demonstrate LSD!!

    Sweet looking Mitsubishi Delica van. I remember when the Delica looked like this. It was sold in the USA back in the 80s. For some reason, it didn't survive the 90s before being discontinued. RHD or LHD, I would've appreciated a 4wd Mitsubishi Delica van, particularly with a turbo diesel engine powering it.
