This is seriously the most natural looking tank/aquarium nail I have ever seen!!!! The tank nails tend to be thick and awkward. I have seen manufactured tank/aquarium tips pre-made that look pretty good but this one is beautiful! I am so glad you finally did this!
Your thought process and then execution are what make you the best in the industry!!!! I’ve hated aquarium nails because of how bulky they are, and how the c-curve is non existent. You have changed the game!!!!! I’ve said it before - I learn so much from you!
You have outdone everyone on RUclips who has done aquamarine nails. I don't mean that in a mean way. You always think things fully and try to make them look good. You're a artist.
I've been waiting for you to do Aquarium nails since Forever! We always want to see you do things because you're THE BEST there is. I've been watching you for Years. So proud of everything you've accomplished. You're gorgeous inside and out! Thank you for all the hard work and many hours of content. Thank you for teaching us So much! You're amazing!
Love you videos Kristy! I bet it’s already a “thing” but the whole time I was watching “whale nail”, I was thinking “snow globe” “shaker” nails! So much you could do with the hollowed out chamber! But the whale was the most unique idea.
That’s amazing! I really like it, how fun it would be to wear it. Try to ignore the critics, they’re not worth your time. Thank you for creating such fun videos to watch. Take good care.
You are a rare find kirsty, there's just no end to your talents, I'm lost for words each time I'd definitely wear this I'd have other themes on each finger for example crocodiles or rhino's in water or lions drinking water with crocs underneath but I love your vids this is incredible your artistry at its finest.
Kirsty I would wear this type of nail. Your take on this nail design is very elegant. Some that I've seen although very pretty have looked like house bricks on the end of the finger. Your design if superb! ❤
Sorry Kirsty but I think you are an individual species 😮 Normal people just don’t have your talent, you are going to have to give up something, it’s not fair that you are beautiful and extremely talented! 😂😂😂😂
For the liquid I would suggest using water (preferably distilled) with a drop or two of glycerin mixed in. In the US you can usually order glycerin from a pharmacy/drug store, but you can also find it online. You can also find it at craft stores that have soap making supplies. The glycerin will make it so that the water doesn't evaporate or grow mold and whatnot. Jewelry makers use this concoction for "floating stone" jewelry, where chips of stones are suspended in liquid inside a glass form (often a globe or vial). I hope that helps, and I hope you do more aquarium nails in the future! 🐳🐋🌊
Thank you, Adam, for talking her into doing the aquarium nail. It is awesome. Kirsty, I love watching your recreation of trending nail arts. I hope you do something amazing for a Halloween set of nails? Love watching you work, and you're always making me laugh.
OMG that really is amazing, I've watched a few aquarium nails and yours is by far above par ❤ as much hassle as it is I really would like you to do another.😊 you truly are an artist ❤❤❤
I think you went above and beyond what everyone else does for their versions of aquarium nails. You are awesome and I love watching your videos. Peace and love to you and your family 💜💙💜💙
I have been taking care of my parents for 2 years. Kirsty, you don't look like yourself, Wow! I remember when you got yiur eyes done. You look nice, just had to keep looking....... You continue to be so talented. Enjoyed watching you again
I am amazed that you made this nail so beautifully for your first time. You are so talented! I have been watching you for years, and I was so proud when you when you broke out to work on your own and started your own product line. Keep winning Darling!
My wife has been making aquarium nails since 2013. Her sister loved them. They are tricky though. Even after all these years she still has her moments where they dont turn out on the first try.
I’m guessing Faye is a kept woman, if you will, but I doubt even she has the time it would take to sit for 10 aquarium nail. I bet she is there for 4-5 hours for her long nails as it is.
You finally gave in to the aquarium nail. I've seen so many different ways to doing them. Love killer whales. This nail is right up my alley. 🥰 Thanks for sharing. 💙💙💙🤗
Thank you Kirsty for this awesome work! Thank you Adam for making Kirsty doing this! 💖 The little whale is so cute! Next time with thinner oil and smaller whale it will be perrrrrfect! 🐋
PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEAAASE do more! These are my absolute FAVOURITE nails...except that they are often so very chunky...which is the same issue you mentioned about them. If there is a nail tech who can figure out a way to fix that issue...it's you!
Well executed beautiful ❤ wat a shame about the movement still amazing thou best natural looking design ive seen xx amazing job as always. Well done adam for persuading her to show us the best way to do it xxx
I have watched a lot of aquarium nail videos but this is the best design yet. It looks so smooth and not bulky on top. Great job especially since you didn't want to do it.
Wow! Thoroughly impressed! I think you made the Aquarium nail as refined as possible! I would love to see you try a different method which makes the tip thinner by filling the chamber toward the apex and then covering that with acrylic.
I just wanna say THANK YOU for taking the time to do this type of nail & putting "your" touches to it, I think they came out lovely. Your idea of how you made the chamber was IMO better than most people, I don't like the bulk either. For not wanting to, you did a great job & seemed like you enjoyed yourself I mean unless you were just putting us on! LOL I'm sure there's going to be a few ladies wanting you to do this style now but hold your ground girl keep saying "NO" LMAO
OMG that tiny whale 🐋 I love it 😻 I’ve done aquarium nails before but with the over nail at the bottom and I’ve only used gel polish, gel glue and builder gel. I’m gonna try doing it like this with acrylic next time. Thank you for the great idea/technic ❤
Your version is so much better looking than the ones I have seen. Plain mineral oil and a dab of water, water in first to take care of bubbles. That will get you the motion you want. The water and oil don't mix, gives a better visual of moving water.
I just love watching you and adem in the background 😂 you guys are the best in the biz on the tube!!!! Thank you for always being yourselfs and creating all these amazing content for us!! We ❤ you!!!
Leave it to Kristy to not know how to do a technique and still do it better than most! ❤ No shade to anyone else that does aquarium nails, but I’ve never seen it done with acrylic in this way and this nail actually looks natural and not bulky like so many others I’ve seen. Lissette’s hard gel/bling gel technique looked the most natural to me but hard gel isn’t everyone’s jam. This is so incredibly natural looking. ❤ I’d love to see Kristy perfect this technique.
I would definitely wear this nail! This way of doing it has to be the best I've seen so far. Hopefully, I'll have a day off soon so i can try doing it myself.
Thank you, Kirsty. Doing the aquarium nails is very time-consuming, and as you stated when finished the nail does not look right as it seems to be way too bulky. The way in which you did this one, is a terrific idea of how to make it look like a real nail.
I loveee it❤❤ its one of the designs I would smoke a good joint and figured out when I started. I got it down to a science now. I loveee them. Yesss, I wear them and also make them as press on sets 👏👏 So much fun! Three tricks I found. Baby oil is the best as its thin. Soap dye is awesome for lava lamp nail inside with the oil and having heavy little glitter or glow pieces help move all other contents around inside your little tank❤❤❤ So awesome. The whale is so damn cute
The way you did it I think is perfect. Having all of the bulk on top. I definitely wouldn’t want a flat tube under my nail. You should try it again and make a smaller whale with baby oil.
I've watched Lissette Cruz, whose the aquarium nail queen, do this but she she says no bubbles it actually hinders the flow. Idk either way it was fun watching you create more art.
Came to the comments to say the same thing, Lissette’s always turn out amazing and everything moves great without the bubble. I also personally think it looks better without the bubble.
It’s absolutely beautiful honestly. I agree about a thinner oil or smaller bits and bobs to move freely. Even though being a first attempt ever, definitely amazing.
Holy 💩!! 1 hour for 1 freaking nail??? 😲😲 Now do 9 more Kristy!!! 🤣🤣 Screw that!! That would be a 1 accent nail and 9 plain other nails for a whole set!! Lol You did way better on your first try then i seen other ppl do their first try! You actually did really really good!!! It thurned out great!! Thanks for sharing love!! 😘😘
Thank goodness 🎉 I also requested these a month or so ago. I just wanted to watch someone make them properly 😅 I love it! I would wear it on my middle finger just so I could wave at some if they deserved it 😂 who could be made about that 😂 Thank you Adam for talking her into it ❤
This version of doing this nail was absolutely more informative and looks way easier than all the others I've seen.... But when you were filing the tip, I was screaming that's enough, that's enough it's going to come out, stop!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The only reason I haven't tried these yet is because I don't want them to look bulky.... I want to do these so bad but I'm so extremely nervous about making them.... Apparently, you can buy them now already premade.... I've seen some use straight baby oil also.... But I absolutely love these....
I would def wear one or two, I do think the aquarium nails are better as accent nails rather than a full set. Every single one that lissette creates I’d wear, of course those are hard gel nails and she’s got her thing down. This is the first one I’ve seen done in acrylic, and it’s really pretty! It’s a perfect nail. You would have to have two though to complete a set of under the sea nails. There, no full set..just two. 😂😂
I absolutely love the way you did that. I have been watching you for years and I have learned so much. I do agree with you on the way of most aquarium nails look very bulky. It is not truly look I am fond of I like the effect but the way you did it does make it look better I might try them after all.
I would wear one or two of these nails as accents for sure! I just saw a set that Evie from Long Hair Pretty Nails did (which was a recreation of Tims Nail Studio on IG) that were coffin for Halloween and those are the only ones I'd wear a full set of. Gorgeous work as always, Kirsty!

My God I would be playing with this whale all day like,”Hello little whale, let’s go for a swim..” *moves finger up and down to make whale swim*😂❤🐳
Your thought process and then execution are what make you the best in the industry!!!! I’ve hated aquarium nails because of how bulky they are, and how the c-curve is non existent. You have changed the game!!!!! I’ve said it before - I learn so much from you!
Thanks Adam for convincing her. 😂 Pleaseee do a Halloween aquarium nail set next!! On Faye or Georgia. 🥰
I was so thinking about Faye rocking a set.
You have outdone everyone on RUclips who has done aquamarine nails. I don't mean that in a mean way. You always think things fully and try to make them look good. You're a artist.

Best aquarium nail ever Done!
You are a rare find kirsty, there's just no end to your talents, I'm lost for words each time I'd definitely wear this I'd have other themes on each finger for example crocodiles or rhino's in water or lions drinking water with crocs underneath but I love your vids this is incredible your artistry at its finest.

That's the best aquarium nail I have ever seen!
Lady you're a great artist! I wish life would give me the chance to have my nails done by you one day!
I personally would love to see you do a set of Halloween aquarium nails. I believe they would be awesome!
I agree but in Purple and black!🎃👻💀
And make little pumpkins to float around in there
Fay's going to want a full set aquarium when she sees this! Great work as always Kirsty and Adam!
Please do it again 😊. This was an excellent showing of how refined an aquarium nail can be.
That little killer whale made me happy on so many levels!
Sorry Kirsty but I think you are an individual species 😮 Normal people just don’t have your talent, you are going to have to give up something, it’s not fair that you are beautiful and extremely talented! 😂😂😂😂
She has to take it to an extreme level. Most of the other nail girlies do a great job, but Kirstie blows it out of the water!
I totally agree with you there! She is in a class all her own!
I would definitely wear this. You are so awesome. Great job with your brand. ❤❤
Right and she’s a beautiful soul on the inside too
Denise already done these 6 years ago same style
I would love to wear an entire set of these nails made by you. Stunning. Well done you!
Oh, I would also suggest no bubbles.
Thank you, Adam, for talking her into doing the aquarium nail. It is awesome. Kirsty, I love watching your recreation of trending nail arts. I hope you do something amazing for a Halloween set of nails? Love watching you work, and you're always making me laugh.
This is by far the best looking aquarium nail I've seen. Hat off!
By far the best aquarium nails I’ve seen! But I agree with Adam. WE NEED A FULL SET ❤
I am amazed that you made this nail so beautifully for your first time. You are so talented! I have been watching you for years, and I was so proud when you when you broke out to work on your own and started your own product line. Keep winning Darling!
That is the best aquarium nail EVER MADE. I’d be honoured to wear this nail. It’s so slim it really is wearable ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS KIRST🩵🤍💙🩵💙🤍🩵💙🤍
Finally, an aquarium nail I would love to wear. It looks like a nail and not a box. With thinner oil it would be perfect!
Yes! WE DO LOVE WATCHING KIRSTY EXPERIMENT AND WATCHING HER TAKE ON THINGS AS ADAM SAID!! THE ORCA ADDITION WAS BRILLIANT I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife has been making aquarium nails since 2013. Her sister loved them. They are tricky though. Even after all these years she still has her moments where they dont turn out on the first try.
Yours is by far the prettiest I've seen!! Next let's see the hidden door nail.
🎉That nail is almost as stunning as you. You've brought joy back to me. Thank you goodness 💓
I’m so happy you made an aquarium nail!! I hope you decide to make more in the future. ❤
I was hoping to see this on Faye. 😊 I'm happy to see how you would do it. Your version looks easier than how Ive seen others creat it.
I’m guessing Faye is a kept woman, if you will, but I doubt even she has the time it would take to sit for 10 aquarium nail. I bet she is there for 4-5 hours for her long nails as it is.

Thank you Kirsty for this awesome work! Thank you Adam for making Kirsty doing this! 💖 The little whale is so cute! Next time with thinner oil and smaller whale it will be perrrrrfect! 🐋
You should do it again, but a snow globe for Christmas
this is the best aquarium nail i’ve seen thus far . not thick at all
OMG YAY!!!! I WAS WONDERING IF KIRSTY WOULD EVER TRY THIS TREND!! LOVE IT❤❤❤❤❤
I wasnt expecting the whale to be handmade!!! Omg
PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEAAASE do more! These are my absolute FAVOURITE nails...except that they are often so very chunky...which is the same issue you mentioned about them. If there is a nail tech who can figure out a way to fix that issue...it's you!
I just knew you was going to do something great with this technique. Like long hair pretty nails
You ask if people would wear this? Oh my gosh, I would be honored to wear anything you create. You are such an amazing artist.❤️☮️
Please... someone tell me I'm not the only one who winces when she pushes the tip into the artificial thumb. 😱 LOVE YOU Kirsty pretty lady. ❤❤❤
OMG!!! Kristy you are soooo very TALENTED !!! Thank you so much fir showing this to us !! Love you ❤❤❤❤❤ & your channel !!
I love the guy in the background of your videos lol he’s always asking the questions I would ask
That is fantstic!!!!!! I have never seen one before and absolutely love this one you did!
That is absolutely amazing! Pure talent & very artistic!
Honestly just amazing 🤩 🐳
Wow! Thoroughly impressed! I think you made the Aquarium nail as refined as possible! I would love to see you try a different method which makes the tip thinner by filling the chamber toward the apex and then covering that with acrylic.

You are so talented. It looks so adorable for being the first time u make a nail like this. I would so wear this.
I love how proud you feel of your work it makes me smile, you're a star👌you nailed that aquarium so thin and neat I'd wear it💃
OMG that tiny whale 🐋 I love it 😻 I’ve done aquarium nails before but with the over nail at the bottom and I’ve only used gel polish, gel glue and builder gel. I’m gonna try doing it like this with acrylic next time. Thank you for the great idea/technic ❤
I’d wear a nail stuffed with hessian and painted brown as long as it was done by you!!
Thank you for doing this, Kirsty! You are by far the best nail artist and I appreciate how much time this took!
beautiful whale swimming onto the wonderful world of art where talent exist
Yes I’d wear it. I’m a diver and it would make a great conversation piece after a dive with my scuba buddies in the bar 😊
Yes full set practice makes perfect and you are already so good at it so yes full set
It would look pretty with starfishies dolphins and turtles x the killer whale was very creative though
We ❤ you!!!
thanks kirsty for being a good sport! the end result is really nice!
I missed you and your presence on your channel you are one of a kind
I absolutely love these sort of videos, such fun and well done Kirsty for giving it a go 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Kirsty, you da boss! First time I would actually consider wearing an aquarium nail or two. ❤❤
I’d love to see Kristy perfect this technique.
I would wear it and tell everybody that Kirsty Meakin proudly made this nail and I love it!
The best aquarium nail that i have seen 😍 and if i wore acrylic i would totally wants them!!!
It looks like a shark sharks have thinner looking bodies. But it's a great looking shark. I like your hair. And the nail aquarium looked awesome
I would definitely wear this nail! This way of doing it has to be the best I've seen so far. Hopefully, I'll have a day off soon so i can try doing it myself.
It is truly a long process, although the result is wonderful. I love your designs!! #Nail #aquarium #tutorial
Thank you, Kirsty. Doing the aquarium nails is very time-consuming, and as you stated when finished the nail does not look right as it seems to be way too bulky. The way in which you did this one, is a terrific idea of how to make it look like a real nail.
This is the most wearable aquarium nail I’ve ever seen love it so much I will wear a whole set from you Kirsty❤
It turned out beautifully, well done. I'd be pulling my hair out half way through making it. 😊
So creative and it was so cool watching her make the whale. I just found this channel and really enjoyed watching her
I loveee it❤❤ its one of the designs I would smoke a good joint and figured out when I started.
Your great eye for detail and precision is amazing.made wearable ,great job
Id definitely wear a set of these! I Iove snow globes. It’s a visual fidget toy 💕💕💕💕
It is the prettiest aquarium nail I have.
Do you watch Long Hair Pretty Nails? I'm a big fan of both and Evie has a bunncchh of these nails if you're looking for more. 🙂
Lissette has definitely perfected this!
@quirkyviper I will have to go check her out. I've watched her videos in the past.
Came to the comments to say the same thing, Lissette’s always turn out amazing and everything moves great without the bubble. I also personally think it looks better without the bubble.
@AliciaLynn2 right? I used to think that bubble was essential but now I know it's not
Kirsty, you did great for your first time!! i would deftly wear that. It's beautiful! 😍💅🏻
I was watching aquarium nails here on RUclips the other day and I was thinking 'oh I hope Kirsty does one of these' thank god you did it ❤ Xxx
This is the best aquarium nail I've seen! I feel like you can have only 1 or 2 tiny items though if you want to see them move around.
Yess👏👏👏 I've been waiting for this video!!. I know it's like cliche but we knew your version would be🤌🤌 period!!!❤️❤️
I surely will be able to wear it and anything else that you do. I’m an individual and I’m in love with anything that you do 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
I would wear that nail for sure. Great job!
I think it looks absolutely mint !!!! Xx
I absolutely love the way you did that. I have been watching you for years and I have learned so much. I do agree with you on the way of most aquarium nails look very bulky. It is not truly look I am fond of I like the effect but the way you did it does make it look better I might try them after all.
I love aquarium nails ! Soo glad You've done this x can't wait to.the end results X Youre so skilled super talented
That is actually gorgeous
I would wear one or two of these nails as accents for sure! I just saw a set that Evie from Long Hair Pretty Nails did (which was a recreation of Tims Nail Studio on IG) that were coffin for Halloween and those are the only ones I'd wear a full set of. Gorgeous work as always, Kirsty!
Love Evie's coffin recreation! ⚰️ My fave of her aquarium nails! Especially since they don't look too bulky because you need a higher apex for that length.
Loved that the tip free edge was still a normal thickness on Evie and Tim's. Leaving the fill side at the apex makes all the difference!
