Wow!! Kirsty you really are the Nail Queen!! I have been watching your video's for year's, and you are by far the Best nail Artist . I love Acrylic nails, and I have learned so much from you! Now I just critique other video's I watch, and look forward to yours...lol.... This nail set is stunning!!!🖤🤍
Ever since I’ve seen the Russian Almond done by your hands I’ve been obsessed with the shape 😍 Ombob it is a lovely shape. I just have the hardest time doing it myself though. Practice makes perfect ^_^
Beautiful set. I missed you - basically pearls are clam a cross between sand and clam spit and snot. A piece of sand/shell/rock gets stuck in the clam it irritates it the clam shifts it around until it is under its “tongue” then it takes that piece of irritant and swishes it round and round in clam snot and makes a pearl. It takes along time to make pearls
They make pearls by one grain of sand that gets inside of it and it is the defense mechanism against that grain of sand, cause it hurts them, so they build a film around it over the years it turns into a beautifulpearl.
Stunning set as always. This is so my vibe. I was actually wondering the other day, if it was possible to fill my clients who have acrygel with acrylic straight over the top 🖤
Hehehe, with peace and love, I keep giggling at these nails because the nail beds are so short, it looks like putting huge beautiful extensions on some toes. 😂
ÂThe formation of a pearl starts when a foreign substance slips into the oyster between the mantle and shell. This irritation causes the oyster to attempt to protect itself, producing nacre to cover the foreign substance. Over time, these layers form a pearl. Although clams and mussels can also produce pearls, they don't do so very often. Most pearls are made by oysters, and they can be made in either freshwater or saltwater environments.
I was just coming to say this - it's oysters that make pearls, very rarely does a claim or mussel. 😊 And yes, they do have a brain, not a large one, but it's there... 😊
Ooooh I love these! This is the color combo I'm thinking about using for my Xmas nails this year so this gives me a little inspo. Hope this means you're back to uploading again. I feel like I've been in Kirsty withdrawals lol
This set is totlly epic. FYI from Google. Pearls are formed when an oyster secretes layers of nacre, a calcium carbonate-based substance, around an irritant that enters its shell: 1. Irritant enters A grain of sand, parasite, or other object enters the oyster's shell and gets trapped between the shell and the oyster's mantle. 2. Nacre secretion The oyster secretes layers of nacre, also known as mother-of-pearl, to coat and protect itself from the irritant. 3. Pearl formation The layers of nacre slowly build up over time, eventually forming a pearl. Pearls can take at least 24 months to form and can range in size from 1-7 millimeters. Larger pearls are more valuable. Pearls can also be created commercially by inserting an irritant into the oyster. This process is known as culturing pearls.
bonjour kristy je suis très contente de vous revoir vous nous manquez et ces magnifique bravo se que vous faites bravo bisous de la France bisous Martine 👍👍👏👏💅💅😘🥰🇨🇵🇨🇵💐🌹
Beautiful set!! I have to disagree n one thing though, I've been a nail tech for over 30 years, I never went to work without my nails being perfect, nor would I want my girls to not have their nails done, it looks bad.
Same! I’ve been a Nail Artist for 28 years and always said that my own nails are my best advertisement, never go without. I’ve only had them done by other techs a handful of times over the years as most don’t do them the way I prefer, I’ve become quite ambidextrous 😊
I like to put some of my caviar beads on a palette (however many I think I need) and mix them with topcoat and then individually apply them, usually with a fine liner brush. Then cure them. That way they're completely covered with topcoat which protects them and helps them stick on.
I am so confused as to why you would do this, like it seems like so much more work, and for nothing... Why are we putting a layer of acrylic under the acrygel? Especially when we didn't pinch the acrylic. I would understand if you needed to pinch the nail beds, creating a C curve, fixing wide hammer toe nails - but we didn't, so what's the point?? I am honestly asking, so please explain... And then, we have to put gel over the acrylic so the acrygel will stick - so why not just use gel from here on?? Again, more time lost switching between products. Could have just used hard gel, it comes in colors too... Didn't understand the need for black alcohol ink, when you cover over with black acrylic, the ink was no longer visible... To me, it seems like we add a bunch of different products just cause you can, not really for necessity, which really just made the set take longer to do. Probably cost more too... If I am missing the reasoning behing this, please explain.... 😊

Yes, that is basically correct, except pearls are found in Oysters - not clams...
😉

I’m up early also here in the U. S. Want to learn how to use both gel & acrylic ❤
The flowers remind me of a crocus or mini orchid? Either way, stunning! I’ve missed your videos!

As a cosmetologist and a nail tech , I’m lucky to have a full set and my roots done at the same time 😂
Thanks
Cruella nails!!!❤
Hey Kirsty!
The flower looks like a cross between a Pansy !
bonjour kristy je suis très contente de vous revoir vous nous manquez et ces magnifique bravo se que vous faites bravo bisous de la France bisous Martine 👍👍👏👏💅💅😘🥰🇨🇵🇨🇵💐🌹
A Pansy and Lotus flower!
The flower kinda looks like an Iris to me.
Your brand of that is so good apparently. I live in the US and I have tried several and oh my gosh you're so sticky.
I meant they're so sticky.*
I always thought that having something like acrygel and acrylic wouldn’t work because acrygel is softer more flexible shouldn’t be used together…?

Hello
What's the secret to stopping the caviar beads from tarnishing 😡
Top coat them
I like to put some of my caviar beads on a palette (however many I think I need) and mix them with topcoat and then individually apply them, usually with a fine liner brush. Then cure them. That way they're completely covered with topcoat which protects them and helps them stick on.
Beautiful
