I live in an apartment building with paid parking. It's not cheap, either. Even though there are signs everywhere indicating that the parking lot is for paying residents only, careless and/or stupid visitors continue to park in tenants' spots. And it's always the same visitors with their same cars, over and over again. Tenants are forced to park on the street and risk getting a ticket. Leaving notes on the visitors' cars does not work. They crumple up the paper, throw it on the ground, and then park in our spots again the next time they come to our building. What else are we supposed to do BUT get their cars towed? The offending visitors become hysterical with rage, but I have little sympathy for them. I gave one car owner FOUR chances before I called the towing company. He got what he deserved: inconvenience and fine to pay for the towing.

TexasScout Noneofyourbusiness Also because the ones we use are far more advanced, this is a 2nd world country at the end of the day, not as sophisticated as us, even though they use our language.
What a great idea! Lifting the cars means it doesn't matter if the wheels are locked or the handbrakes on or even if the car is left in gear all things that make it difficult to tow them. We don't have those kind of trucks in the States, I sure wish we did!
Saw a tow truck with a forklift arrangement once. It pulls up beside the offending vehicle, extends the "forks", lifts and retracts back to the bed. I'll take one of each thank you !
Wow i dont know why most of you blame this guy. He is right. First, whoever blame this guy probably never drive a car nor a learners permit. Second, you see how small the road and cars park on every direction. I drive an 8 passenger vehicle and it will need sooo much forward and reverse to get out. Hell no, i will not waste my tires and brakes for a driver that should know "you cannot park on someone else driveway". He or she could of park another place and actually exercise. No wonder i see so many obese people this days..
It's quite simple, don't block people's driveways... not even a little bit. And don't whinge like a twat when there's a video of of a car being lifted because it's blocking. Good for you mate!
The police won't do anything when my neighbour parks on my dropped kerb. Unless they were to totally block me in. But as i have a few centimetres to play with on either side, they won't do a thing. Even though its obvious my neighbour does it deliberately as he doesn't park outside his own house with 2 spaces. He prefers my dropped kerb.
I wonder how these culprits would react OR feel if somebody did the same to them , that is park obstructing there driveway ,it is law incase of fire and your car is illegally parked and causing difficulty for the emergency services IT WOULD BE AN OFFENCE AND PROSECUTION ,TUT TUT
Well done. Idiots like this Ford driver need to learn. It does scare me though. If people have trouble coming to a stop in the right way, how are they coping at 70mph? Every day you hear on the radio about crashes on the roads. I'd bet money that most of them are not split-second mistakes, but are in fact the unavoidable outcome because someone has done something radically stupid in an attempt to get home 5 seconds earlier.
my aunty and uncle had a twat park in front of there drive from Monday to friday during working hours. they asked him nicely several times not to park ther but he just laughed at them. the solution was 8 strips of wood with 6 nailes in each one in front and behind each wheel. they never saw him again strange that. and the moral of this story dont fuch with my anty Jennifer
People carelessly drop batteries all the time. It's difficult to prove that they were purposely left under the tire. Even normal batteries have enough acid in them to eat away tires. If you only have a few of the small ones place two just not perfectly aligned. City street, people drop a lot of things.
That’s a different way to tow a vehicle. Completely different then we have in the US. I ponder how many different ways towing companies implement towing world wide.
i had a neighbor who always had their friends park in my marked spot in a condo i owned at all hours while there was plenty of street parking. ... just layed on the horn until they came out to move ... even at midnight
Highway code 243 states, 'Do not stop or park in front of an entrance to a property'. There is nothing about 'blocking' in the law and it is not up to you or the driver of that car to judge whether you are 'blocking'. The law is clear. Do not park in front of an entrance to a property!
There is a difference between "do not" and "must not". For someone who quotes the highway code, I'd have thought this distinction that is often talked about wrt the highway code would not be lost on you, clearly it is.
Hog Mouse I think you are talking about "Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, Section 103", seeing that video though, i saw very little obstruction unless they drive a vehicle twice as wide as everyone else. You could get a bus in and out of there without issue. unless the guy gloating is mr magoo I suppose. What i'd suggest is letting this idiot out and then park RIGHT INFRONT of the drive way as not getting INTO his drive is something he can do nothing about, its getting out thats the issue.
Not sure why this is in my feed 7 years later bu really enjoyed it! Only wish they had used a claw instead of the gently slinging it. Would have saved a bunch of time especially after you asked if they could crush it too
I live I Queens N.Y. and my drive way was half of this, some one once blocked a quarter of it, I called the cops and they said once I can back out of my drive way, although difficult, they can't ticket the car, or have it towed. What bull is this?
Nobo Actually, the USA has EXACTLY the same car as the one in the video. We do have some SUV vehicle that are bigger, but we also have tow trucks that would do This job in about 15 seconds.
Nobo that’s a Ford Focus. An American car. I have a similar one. And actually European cars tend to be made out of better material and presumably heavier than cheaply American made cars (our regulations are low af here)
Someone blocked access where i work I work in the motor trade. The second time they did it.... It took 2 minutes to put dollies under all 4 wheels and push the car out the way. The car became like a heavy shopping trolley. Easy for people to push about. No damage done, no security footage, no clamping or release fee. We carefully placed it between a lamp post and a concrete bollard. About 1cm clearance front and rear. The police were not interested, the car owner could drive off any time they wished. We charged £100 move their car. They never did it again.
a winch? fuck that in the USA they just lock up the front lift and drag it off and any damages are the assholes responsibility that parked illegally LOL
I was managing a business and people thought it okay to park on the lot and leave their vehicles for days. The company was too cheap to pay for private parking signs that would allow vehicles to be legally towed by a phone call. The police could not legally tow from private property unless the signs were posted with proper legal wording, unless it was obvious the vehicle was disabled and not able to be driven away. Apparently a flat tire by removable of the valve core did the trick. Valve core replaced. No harm. It was a small business with a small lot. No room for vehicles to be stored there.
They don't have those in the states? Which states? The one's on Pluto? These trucks are all over USA & Canada. Plus they also work/move alot faster than this one.
@@aaura8805 Tow trucks in U.S are Ford F-150s (I think)... put the bed down, unlock the tower, manually move the tower under the wheels, close the tower so wheels don't fall out, move truck forward pulling car out of parking space, find somewhere to safely hinge the car to the truck so it not fall off. Ez... seen repo work before.
I know people round here who have dropped the kerbs outside their houses without any council permission even though there are parking boxes right outside their property. They still expect other people not to park there and park their second vehicles there.
You must be one of kindred spirits as I have the same issues. Often city police won't act unless there is a major violation on the car or it appears abandoned. As soon as a tire goes flat, their expiration expires or the inspection is up, the police (& the tow truck company) head on over. I offer them sodas, water and cookies as they hook up the offending car. It gets me high for a week!
It happens to me every week several times a week. Blocking the driveway fully or partially. The crazy thing is the street here is mostly clear of vehicles but always they seem to park blocking the driveway, there are no parking restrictions. Right now there is a car blocking it, yet there are spaces all over the street. I've reported it happening and the local government and the authorities don't do a thing. It would appear in some parts of the UK (and world) things are done differently.
Sure thing, dude, haha, except then you get arrested for vandalism and all the "bad guy" has to do is pay a fine after pumping up his tires. Follow the law, don't invent your own.
Criminal damage is against the law, no matter what the provocation and if all 4 tyres are flat, you are delaying their removal of the offending vehicle.

Apparently it is not against the law to park on someones driveway private property or not, it is however against the law to block someone in on a driveway.
Oh mate you don't go around egging someones car... what you do is put a notice (usually with an A4 size piece of paper) and put that on his windscreen telling him he was a very naughty, naughty boy..... of course when I state put it on his windscreen, I mean with superglue.... have you ever tried to remove paper from a piece of glass, stuck on with superglue.... hehehehehehehe. Lets just say it was a joy watch him try and rip it from his screen... oh and always do it on the drivers side just to press the point across....LOL!
Someone parked in front of my dad's driveway. I moved with my transit recovery and banger raced it haha cheers mate
I would have done the same thing. Great job!
would love to see their faces when they come for the car 😂
Joan Cullimore yes instead of this waste of time.
Joan Cullimore I was hoping the owner would return during the vid; THAT'S some entertainment.
I get this when school is open, wish the council was this fast
It sure seems like a satisfying job to be tow truck operator
Having the car towed is the best revenge! Now they must pay that fee! 😄
I have never seen a tow truck that works that way. I don't think we have them in the States!
Don Harden
Right...A tow crane.
Don Harden in new orleans we have at least 2 like the one in the video. they are used in v lose quarters where a standard tow truck cannot get in properly
That's because most US cars would be too heavy to pick up that way. Turn the whole truck over.
TexasScout Noneofyourbusiness Also because the ones we use are far more advanced, this is a 2nd world country at the end of the day, not as sophisticated as us, even though they use our language.
Andrew Murphy oh how I miss NOLA.😊
Well done! Spanish plates too. They're going to have a long walk back to Madrid!! Would love to see the face of the driver when he/she returned.
What a great idea! Lifting the cars means it doesn't matter if the wheels are locked or the handbrakes on or even if the car is left in gear all things that make it difficult to tow them. We don't have those kind of trucks in the States, I sure wish we did!
Good job! Nice to see it towed! Some people are amazingly stupid as well as selfish!
Saw a tow truck with a forklift arrangement once. It pulls up beside the offending vehicle, extends the "forks", lifts and retracts back to the bed. I'll take one of each thank you !
That is the most awesome tow truck I've ever seen. You Brits have your stuff together. Would my pick-up truck fit on there?
Wow i dont know why most of you blame this guy. He is right. First, whoever blame this guy probably never drive a car nor a learners permit. Second, you see how small the road and cars park on every direction. I drive an 8 passenger vehicle and it will need sooo much forward and reverse to get out. Hell no, i will not waste my tires and brakes for a driver that should know "you cannot park on someone else driveway". He or she could of park another place and actually exercise. No wonder i see so many obese people this days..
Foreign plate says it all, the entitlement.
love it . wish the councils did more of this .
That's a cool tow truck. I didn't know those existed.
You think that is good - look at these used in Dallas ruclips.net/video/nKT77ytsfrE/видео.html
me either, great idea
Me neither till I woke up one morning and my mates car had gone
Durrington Dave This is a better demo:
ruclips.net/video/Eszx9hK8aCU/видео.html
I don't think its a tow truck.... A car-lifter truck?
Another great video that put a smile on my face, wanna bet that driver thinks about his choice of parking space next time
Well done to you young man....that piece of trash was most probably dumped with no tax.
It wouldn't have tax anyway , it's on an ESTONIA plate they are supposed to get UK tax after 6 months but does anyone check? My guess is not
Where do you see Estonia plate? E is for Spain.
@@zabnat Correct - Espana
That contraption is one of a kind, mate. Bloody awesome!
That's a pretty spiffy tow truck !!
That was my thoughts, awesome tow truck
Yeah looks a bit sketchy in the air though definitely gotta be smooth
You need to speak to GTOger to get the drumbeats track (a hero steps up) 😉
Great to have it in recommended 8 years later.
I laughed out loud at his question of whether they can tow the cars away and crush them up! I know the feeling.
So glad action was taken . Some people are so selfish . The fines however are not very high ! Why not I wonder .
it all good watching an illegally parked car towed away
what would be more fun is watching the owner turn up wondering where their cars gone...
Seriously The Best. It’s so darn cool to watch. Thanks
That is one awesome tow truck!
I’m from Canada love your tow trucks never seen nothing like that I would go out and look for cars to tow just to watch 😂
my aunty and uncle had a twat park in front of there drive from Monday to friday during working hours. they asked him nicely several times not to park ther but he just laughed at them. the solution was 8 strips of wood with 6 nailes in each one in front and behind each wheel. they never saw him again strange that. and the moral of this story dont fuch with my anty Jennifer
Batteries they leave less evidence does the same amount of damage... ...
RoMayDrako eh ? Tell me more.
People carelessly drop batteries all the time. It's difficult to prove that they were purposely left under the tire. Even normal batteries have enough acid in them to eat away tires. If you only have a few of the small ones place two just not perfectly aligned. City street, people drop a lot of things.
Nice one
Tom Mabon k
That’s a different way to tow a vehicle. Completely different then we have in the US. I ponder how many different ways towing companies implement towing world wide.
The guy was a matey for parking there. Good on you for resolving the problem in a legal and public (!) way.
"Blimey, where's me motor gone, I swear I parked it right here, didn't I?"
Owner seems to come from Spain, so they don't know, after been towing away they will know!!!
i had a neighbor who always had their friends park in my marked spot in a condo i owned at all hours while there was plenty of street parking. ... just layed on the horn until they came out to move ... even at midnight
Nice one.did you see the person come looking for his car.
Dang what a marvelous tow truck. These should be everywhere!
that is neat as shit we need that for handicapped parking violation!
No we don't.
That’s the greatest tow truck ever! It just picks the car up and puts it on a flatbed truck. We need tow trucks like that here in the States.
It's called 'Obstruction' and is an offence.
Hog Mouse
I think you are talking about "Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, Section 103", seeing that video though, i saw very little obstruction unless they drive a vehicle twice as wide as everyone else. You could get a bus in and out of there without issue. unless the guy gloating is mr magoo I suppose.
What i'd suggest is letting this idiot out and then park RIGHT INFRONT of the drive way as not getting INTO his drive is something he can do nothing about, its getting out thats the issue.
Kamma, that's American law surely? This is uk
Think of it this way, the person trying to get through the driveway is driving a honking big fire truck and the building in back is on fire.
Find someone with a wide car and have it there when the cops arrive.
Or just say that you need it clear because you are anticipating a wide vehicle arriving
They lied. Just too lazy to fill out paperwork
Lazy assed cops on the take.
Need the auto loader system fro North America, gone in a minute ...
Those are the kind of 'tow trucks' we need in the states!!
We also have tow trucks in the USA that would have pulled that car out in a few seconds,
Pat66 Herbert66 american need more lgbt
Cars in the USA are heavy , these trucks can't lift them
Nobo Actually, the USA has EXACTLY the same car as the one in the video. We do have some SUV vehicle that are bigger, but we also have tow trucks that would do This job in about 15 seconds.
Nobo that’s a Ford Focus. An American car. I have a similar one. And actually European cars tend to be made out of better material and presumably heavier than cheaply American made cars (our regulations are low af here)
It’s only against the law if a car is in the driveway,
Should have gotten two fines for blocking two driveways!
Someone blocked access where i work
I work in the motor trade.
Redcorvin when cars are parked bumper to bumper, you need a truck like this to lift them up and out
looks like somebody does not know much about correct use of "'asterix".
I have never seen a truck like that before.
Really ? They're fairly common.
Very rarely any damage to the cars they pick up either.
I don't think we have them in the US.
Jesus45U I can see them damaging cars like tow truck drivers do all the time.
If only it was a smart car, he would have been golden
HeHeHe.... I bet the owner was PISSED when they found the car gone!! 😂😂
OK that tow truck is cool, they don't have those in the states. I wish I could say people don't illegally park in the states, but that's not true.
The two truck will always be the quickest responder.
the british always seem more civilised, even when towing cars!!!
What a maroon yes I thought that he sounded rather unintelligent with all the “byes” at the end - I’m British and NOT childish thanks!
Yes we are. Not like you yankees. If it annoys you, shoot it
Walter Moriarty we are

@@e36racer44: Piss off back to the 18th century, you racist git.
I wanted to see the car owners reaction when he/she returned ….. dammit
is there a part 3 to this video to show the reaction of the owner now that would have been fun lol
Check up on LAW about parking over driveways.
The U.S. should have these tow trucks.
Ummmm those trucks are everywhere in the USA & Canada.
Aaura Spirit I live in California and I can say I’ve never seen a tow truck like that.
You will have to take the law into your own hands!!
I wish they could do that here in the states lol.
Interesting to see a different “towing” method to GTOger’s All Stars tow trucks. The only problem with this method is... no drumbeats. :)
What a Lovely Day
That was slick. I have never seen a tow truck like that before.
DRAT! I wanted to see the reactions about people finding their cars gone.
that's a beautiful sight !
Just let down all their tyres, a lot easier, and always a laugh seeing the reaction
You are just having way too much fun with this...
Can you drop it in a compacter. Hint: use the two foot cube for an end table. "Then there was the day I had power and satisfaction
This is awesome, stupid people who parked like that should be made to pay.
Granted - the rudeness and simplemindedness of people who do this is astounding but you're pure elation and pleasure knowing what hell is being dealt is a bit much.
Anyone knows what to do when a car parks on your drive way? I got a car parked on my drive and it's not any of the neighbours cars?! It looks dodgy but not sure what I meant to do with it?! Any ideas?
Call the council, you commented on this video and the video says what to do so why ask the question. Pay attention.
@@aron2015 but the council won't do anything, because the car is on my drive way and it's a private land. If it was on the public land but blocking access to the drive way they would remove it! I know sounds crazy.
When i am blockt I take out a lipstick and write no parking a cross the windows. It's hard to remove and won't damage the car. Believe me you only have to do this once. A$$hole driver works wonderful too... Lol.
@@DonAlex36:... you're giving up before you even enquire! I HATE that! Ring the council! You can't possibly know the full extent of their powers, and even if they can't help you directly, they will almost certainly be able to advise you, tell you of those who CAN help you, and maybe even put you in contact with those people! Pay a friendly, informal visit to your local police station, tell them your problem and ask for advice, or if you want action more rapidly, ring a company who deals with towing and removals, explain your situation, get some advice or even have the car removed by them (but before the removal, enquire about cost! You don't want any sudden, large removal bills, or worse, huge bills for storage of a car that's nothing to do with you!)
wedge some screws under all 4 wheels so when he drives off he gets 4 punches
I used to drive a 2005 Ford Focus ZX5 SES. It got totaled in a bad car accident almost 9 years ago. The other driver hit it on the passenger side and the car did rolled over the belly side up. I had a broken ankle from the impact of the other car after hitting my car. The driver was driving a late 90’s or early 2000’s Ford Taurus. I also had about 3 or 4 bruises and one little bump. I even wore my seatbelt. I was so scared after the other driver hit my car. After a paramedic got me out of the seatbelt and the seat. I was laying on my belly just became very calm and just looked around. My father was impressed how I handle it.
