I agree. I like all three of them Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma. The Dark World music was my favorite. I also like opening the Doors music. I don't know why they couldn't do a fully 3d remake of all three. The mana series has been great as of late.
One of the most memorable field themes that not everyone got to experience. Absolutely nailed it. As soon as I saw the notification, I had goosebumps and as usual, nothing but a splendidly beautiful rendition that's perfectly faithful to the original.
It also makes me happy to see he's finally racking up some sub numbers! Andrew is a fantastic musician and definitely deserves way more followers than he has.
I LOVE that you stick to the original score and refrain from adding your own unique touch with additional dynamics that don't match the original score like so many others do. This is the best performance I've ever heard of this song. Thank you SO much!
Omg!! That's so beautiful, please do more from Terranigma. This game is not only my favorite game but it's kind of a religion of mine. So happy to se a masterpiece such as this video!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. THIS IS SUCH AN UNDERATED GAME FOR IT'S SOUND TRACK AND THIS IS HONESTLY ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TRACKS FROM ENIX. Ohhhhhh I really hope you do Magic Rocks, you did this track soooooo much justice!
If anyone played FF Dimensions for GBA, definitely borrowed a lot of musical cues from this game- and pretty fun overall. Worth a play. This game was a gem. The seagulls at the end packed a punch. It's weird how so many 16 bit games managed to create feels without all the flairs and flourish, and it's not just nostalgia goggles.
oh jeez i found your channel by accident and this is just so wonderful. the feeling and virtuosity you lay in this old, wonderful tracks. masterful and beautiful.
After the underworld part, the game become really upsetting and annoying. Its understandable to be in such a place. Soul Blazer and mostly Illusion of Gaia are the better option of playing. This is the weakest game in the trilogy, but with the best soundtrack.
@@nikolaikolev9427 Soul Blazer's gameplay is clunky as hell and Illusion of Gaia's story is all over the place while the gameplay is forgettable. Terranigma has both of these down perfectly and is Quintet's best game by far.
@@Nordischsound I didnt mix anything. After the underworld the game throw so much bullshit in your face. Grinding isnt optional at all! If you dont grind for the correct level, the game will make your weapon, attacks and so on dealing around 1 damage. This is the most horrible thing that they added to the game. Its also too long for action rpg. Lets not forget that you can get stunlock a lot late game by some bullshit developed enemies. The sidequest are pretty dumb, and they are so much too. For me this game is not more than 6/10(this is compromise assessment).
Nikolai Kolev really? I think in particular the side quests were increadibly well done for its time. Helping Loire and the other cities from medival towns to become modern cities is not only interesting (you help the invention of electricity, phones and airplanes), but also rewarding. You can even rent your own appartment and buy furniture for it! Also there is much more going on, if you look closely. E.g. Seeing your animal friends now locked in zoos and cages symbolizes that progress comes at a price and disconnects from nature. Yes, there is this castle where you have to grind to a certain level, but thats one time. This certainly does not make the game annoying.
The first time Ark walked out from the village and this song played, I was gut-wrenched; as if I could feel the heavy burden and responsibility he has on his shoulder. A beautiful rendition on one of the best game Enix has ever made for SNES.
This gave me such nice shivers! I'm repeating myself, but your ability to reinterpret these classic gems and keeping everything intact is enormously joyful to me! Thank you again for releasing all your music!
Sorry for the toxic comment about a year ago. I didn‘t really took the time to investigate further. It seems like your work is legit. Great work, guys!
this pure art, thanks! I was listening to this and then I picture myself as a kid when this soundtrack comes along with the Gaia's last battle theme as well. I remember I cried from excitement. EPIC!
Oh my! I think you can’t get any better than the last video. Then you guys cover a favorite track from a phenomenal game... Thanks! These covers are marvelous!
Thank you so much for making this. This track is truly near and dear to my heart! To me the original - despite sounding a bit crude when comparing the audio quality directly - has a haunting, wistful atmosphere, that wasn't quite captured in your rendition of the track. A lot of subtle touches from the original seem to be missing from (or played differently in) this version - like how meekly the violin note at 1:04 sets in and builds up in the original (it does so in your version as well to an extend, but it may be impossible to fully replicate that effect with an actual real instrument). Likewise, the violin oftentimes sets in quite powerfully in the original, while the real violin has more of a moderate tone throughout, making for a less dramatic feel overall. Also, the bass is quite prominent in the original and my nostalgia-tinted ears wish this was the case here as well. Anways, sorry for all the nit-picking and thanks again for covering more Terranigma!! :D
Terranigma is, I believe, the property of Quintet. Quintet is long gone, so it's highly unlikely any game from them will get a modern treatment. (Soul Blazer trilogy, ActRaiser series, Robotrek etc)
Better yet, they should use Andrew's renditions of the SD3 songs as an option. I like the remake don't get me wrong, but I feel like their versions were lacking something Andrew is always able to nail with his arrangements.
I've cried. So heroic, so tragic.
This game needs an official us release

David's eyebrows matching the height of each pitch really completes the experience

It makes me so happy when you cover Terranigma, I love that soundtrack.
I can't wait to have a "complete soundtrack" of Terranigma Orchestral Fantasy tracks.
Same here! It never ceases to amaze me. Just like Chrono Trigger :)
It also makes me happy to see he's finally racking up some sub numbers! Andrew is a fantastic musician and definitely deserves way more followers than he has.
@@SigmaXcelsior All SNES's J-RPG have a marvelous soundtrack, that's a fact. So much hidden gems out there

原曲に忠実な音、テンポであり、見事としか言いようがない。

I would leave the SNES running just to hear this theme for hours! I love this rendition, absolutely amazing!
It's always a surprise to be scrolling through my subscriptions and see my face! This one turned out spectacularly, like all the others!
Wow the spirit of the original is embodied so well here.

This sounded so familiar, then I realised a hobby game I've been playing uses this piece.
I can't understand how you just have 11.000 subs >_>

How do I feel nostalgia for a game I've never played? I guess your cover is just that good.
Oh my god, this cover is perfection! Congratulations my friends.
Perhaps someone crowdfunds a remake. Great performance!

The very definition of a hidden gem with a soundtrack to rival the SNES' best.
I love this. Terranigma underworld is the Best world map theme ever!
100/100!!!!
This game is a bit like this channel, not enough people played it / watch these videos!
Incredible work as always, keep it up!

You do a lot of good stuff, but this is something else entirely. This is staggeringly good.
Please do "Light & Darkness" when you can.
You seem to upload something just as I'm thinking about it!
I think I'll give this game a chance :)
The greatest track in the game in my opinion. And its best rendition to date. Thank you so much!
Another Terranigma cover, another like you deserve.
You almost made me cry, this is so good
This is why this is my favorite channel.
Incredible! Masterfully performed.
It better than the original! Absolutely magnificent. Thank you.
Such a nostalgic tune. Thank you, for playing this remarkable song!
One of my favorite themes ever, rendered to perfection.
Amazing rendition of this song.
I was just playing this game recently and then this appears. Beautiful work as usual.
I actually never played this game. I hear a lot about it. All I know for sure is you did an amazing job. That's pretty much a default position.
Beautiful rendition of this wonderful theme.
