I made this for my son last year. It was very simple and it looked very nice!! I added bills from my country as well. Just a simple addition to implement your culture.
My 2 daughters graduate from college together May 6,2022. I’m grateful to be able to make their money lei’s .This tutorial yields beautiful results. Thank you 😊
What kind of glue did you use?
Money lei and crowns is a tradition in Samoan culture..especially birthdays weddings graduation...it's awesome to see other cultures trying it...oh..and the candy lei's also..

I thank you for this video! I’ve seen so many videos and this is far simpler 👍 Also, I think I’m gonna use tape instead of glue dots. But other than that, I’m definitely using your method.
Easier suggestion. 1. No need for rubber-band. 2. No threading needed if you tie right to necklace. 3. Tape end once attached. Tape works just fine.

You can use double sides tape. I would recommend it but, it may rip the dollor

I try to tie the flyers to the bead necklace and when I do the flowers turn everywhere, into different directions, some forward some backward and it takes readjusting. Is this normal?

You probably need to tie the flowers tighter to necklace and they should stay in place. Tie it between the beads around the string too.

Just one question if we use a “glue dot” when opening it will it rip?
I think it’s like a sticky double sided circle type sorta thing
I just tested this and no it won't rip the dollars, as long as when u are disassembling it u very slowly pull the dollar apart. just be gentle and they won't rip

No, it will not. Money is very durable!

wutdafeezy you can also cut tiny pieces of tape. Scotch tape cuz it comes off easily

It would be nice if you actually showed what you were putting on your finger when it goes out of the frame and then your finger shows up with this "gluedot" miraculously on your finger.
