i love your sketching videos! personally, i use 2.0mm led for sketching because it reminds me of those heavily sharpened wooden pencils and can give me a lot of range with size!
Its looks so freaking cute! I cant explain it, but some artists styles cant suir gorou... There are a few gi charachters that DONT suit some drawing styles. Gorou, Ayaka, Raiden, Lisa... They just need a particular style to fit them. But still, gorou in your style is excellent! Just as expected.

as someone who only ever sketches in graphite ive gone past the point of caring about protecting my sketches. I tape pieces of paper over sketches i absolutely love tho lmao

I think graphite is really good for sketchbooks because you don't have to worry about color, just value if you want to shade
