    Dir kha 👍 Loye Afghanistan da tollo pukhtana kor. Pure authentic pashtun culture still exists in afg still, wish it still did in kpk

      Kabul is a very Persianized city, I would say rural areas of Kandahar or even Balochistan have a strong Pashtun culture with little outside influence. From a genetics perspective , Pashtuns in Afghanistan often mixed with Uzbeks and Tajiks, this is not the case I have observed in Pakistan where they just inter marry with each other, endogamy is more common in Pakistan likely linked with a combo of caste system as well as ethnocentrism

    • @uzayrkhan8676
      @uzayrkhan8676 6 месяцев назад

      @@ramboram03 Ya true in general most rural areas of both afg and kpk still have strong culture and less outside influence, but even in most influenced areas like peshawar capital of kpk the old traditional culture isnt as strong, but one thing is for sure that wherever you go or any pashtun you meet influenced or not they will always have thisr basic culture maintained with them and the code of pakhtunwali, and Pashto language, might be small differences but at least they got the basics. And intermarriage well is kore common in pak but still not much I would say just under 10 20 percent actually engages in such, most pashtuns prefer not to and stick to thier same race

    • @ramboram03
      @ramboram03 6 месяцев назад

      I study genetics, from what I have seen of KPK Pashtuns they are identical genetically to those in Kunar/Ningarhar/Laghman rural Pashtun populations , in Kabul , Northern Afghanistan and most urban areas of Afghanistan( Herat, Mazar,Kunduz), most Pashtuns have admixed with Tajik and even adopted Farsi as their language and on the PCA, you see them have more Mongolian or Altai ancestry. In Pakistan, there is an overall aversion to mixing with other ethnic groups esp Panjabis but in Afghanistan esp in urban areas, this aversion is not there so most readily admix with Tajiks or Uzbeks@@uzayrkhan8676

    • @fayyazhilal
      @fayyazhilal 6 месяцев назад +2

      @ramboram03 No sir Afghan Pashtun culture and language is intact. Just bcz other ethnicities have been allowed to mix in bigger cities owing to the hospitable and non racist culture of Pashtuns, doesn't mean Pashtun culture and language has downfall like in Pakistan. Arabic and Farsi languages have been given their due importance in society. As far as genetics is concerned, Pashtuns have mixed genes , arab/turks/Arian . Pakistani Pashtuns are more punjabanized than Afghans being persionized. Other than big cities Pashtuns Afghanistan don't know anything about farsi so therefore Pashtun culture and language is dominant to its maximum out there. That's not the case with Pakistanis. Almost all Pashtun districts have sound know how of urdu and offices have urdu as medium. So much can be written. Wassalam

    • @uzayrkhan8676
      @uzayrkhan8676 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@fayyazhilal As a pashtun from pakistan. I agree, even tho wherever you go in KPK everyone speaks pashto and is close to thier culture, its still weak as compared to Afghanistan where culture is more strong there as pashtuns rule the country and largest in population while are a minority in pakistan.

    Kabul is a clean city but I found it very dull and boring compared to Peshawar, Peshawar is just bursting with life and exuberance even though its dirty, I am not Pakistani or Afghan, but thats my personal experience.

      I live in peshawar and believe it or not i would say kabul regardless going thru so much war etc while Peshawar not going thru any war as bad as kabul still makes kabul look more modern and developed then Peshawar, Peshawars bustling city but its all unorganised and looks really old, building anything there takes yrs thats why most structures are over 50 yrs old there, kabul has a lot of new buildings open roads cleanliness and greenery which im surprised
