Good. Now 100% (it’s fairly repetitive, so you can just add in all of the interesting moments and remove everything else) and play the dlc IN FULL. You can’t cheat and do only Pulse of the Ancients. You have to do Guardian of Remembrance as well. Get on it, Rob (this is a joke, you don’t have to do shit, so don’t take it personally). And btw am I allowed to call you Rob, or should I only call you Choc/Choctopus? I have only asked once before and I don’t wanna continue to call you Rob without permission bc I wanna respect you.
I watched this video cause of autoplay but I don’t regret watching the whole video.
I hope you play the DLC on the channel sometime soon.

i remember the first time i fought calamity ganon in this game, Zelda said “It is time to end this” and i switched to Link and IMMEDIATELY got one-shot

There is one character in the age of calamity from the DLC that does not allow me to die it’s sooga!
@@War_Duck200 you get sooga in the dlc I have both dlc and beat the entire game I even unlocked terreko, purahs, and Gannon
How the heck do you unlock sooga
Save the blademaster from dying in the yiga escape level of the second DLC
@@SilverSaiyanAce There’s a certain Yiga mission you can unlock him in. You have to protect all the Yiga Blademasters, and then I believe you can unlock him. I don’t remember the mission name but it’s one of the EX Battles.
Edit: I didn’t read the comment above me lol, what they said is better explained
fun fact: in level 2, you can fight the guardian. you can deflect lasers, and if you kill it, it auto-ends the mission for you. (you can also kill the molduga, but all you get is a comliment from urbosa)
also, I feel like the talus enemies are just held together by magic, so they can just let go of a part on demand. they swing their arm like a foxtail, then let go of it.
I actually wanted to see if I can actually kill the Guardian in chapter 2 in the demo because I killed a lot of them in botw and my thought process is "Ok, so these guys are menaces in AoC too, huh? Ok, so am I bitch, let's go"
Yeah uh, after I found out you CAN actually beat them, it was over for me. I just grinded that chapter for "ages" until the full game came out and it worked wonders for me.
I was gonna say the exact thing. Another fun fact is you can stop the guardian completely if you play right and strategically only go for legs. It takes ages though and 95% of the time it dies first.
currently playing through the game for the first time on very hard mode. at like 12:40 seconds or so when choc says “i dont know how im surviving on 1 heart” my first thought was just “welcome to my world” im committed to finishing the game on very hard mode going in blind and there is nothing anybody can do to stop me
Makes me sad how most people seem to sleep on this game, it's amazing!
It's a fantastic game let down by hardware. If nothing else, I want a "switch 2" just to have this game not run a 15FPS near the end. Or at 5 when playing on co-op and you have Teba there.
Fun fact: igaunas can stop their hearts for 4 to 5 mins

Imagine if Age of Calamity gets online multiplayer, and some new player who just booted up the game gets thrown into the same lobby as someone who’s been playing from launch, and the new player literally cannot get any kills.
I would love that!
Online Co-op will be nice! Maybe up to 2 - 4 players to help the player's progress in the game.

Your playing character= the opponents generals> the characters you can play as= the opponents captains> the allied hold captains=the opponents-hold captains> the allied mooks=enemy mooks

The first Hyrule Warriors game and, heck! The entire Hyrule Warriors series is very underrated in the Zelda community and just in general

i rarely ever comment stuff on yt but ive found you channel through the smashbros character guieds and this video on age of calamity is awsome. the short funny edits, the commentary, even your humor i like a lot just great content man keep it up

The timeline shift is a little disappointing since it could’ve been really interesting to have a Zelda game where it just ends with a loss, but the new split did allow for some great moments so I’m not too mad
I'm mainly dissapointed they didn't add Donkey Kong to this game as a playable character, being such an important character from BoTW, I get he's not 100 years old but they could've brought him back with the time traveling and all

I know I might be stating the obvious with this comment but i think my favorite part of this game is how it uses the Hollow Champions to frame how powerful the Master Sword is in canon, like, it's literally Evils Bane, it should be fully capable of demolishing ANYTHING standing with Ganon. And it shows very plainly how powerful it is, especially in contrast to whatever weapon you were using at the time.
Age of Calamity Is one of my favorite games ever, second to only smashbros, so im glad you liked it to. I also like it that, when playing the game for the first time its easy to know nothing, but after 100% the game you can play so well and combat is a cakewalk. And just learning everything to play optimal is fun

So I finally had the time to watch this whole thing… and here’s a fun fact I don’t know if choc ever realized. Link wielding the master sword can literally cut through the malice clones like a hot knife to butter. So never use any other weapon after obtaining the master sword. It’s pretty op.
It’s only op against the malice enemies, though. Several other weapons are much better in terms of killing the other enemies.
Makes sense lore wise since it was created to banish evil, it's even canonicaly nicknamed the blade of evil's bane
Yeah it "awakens" and gets a damage boost when fighting Guardians or other Malice-infested things. That's how it worked in BotW too.

He also coughs because mace crushed his lungs mostly. They show it in the clone wars small series that the artist of samurai jack did. Great little series

Fun fact, you can pretty much cheese this one through the means of lock him to all your npc allies to do the job, then job in to do the final blow

choc constantly trying to justify loses with the difficulty is just hella funny to me when he isnt even playing on the hardest difficulty
We really can be glad that there are so many dedicated Zelda fans working at Koei Tecmo. So they made both Hyrule Warriors games not just another Musou games, but homages to the Zelda franchise. Great Spin-Offs.
when i first saw the game i was thinking “oh thats cool..” not really wanting to play it much, but my mom got me it a month after and i loved it, got a friend into it on accident and he 100% everything in it

i remember playing a demo version of the first "Hyrule warriors".
the timer ran out on the demo before i figured out how to hurt the boss half-way through the level.
i later realized that it's JUST like the King Dodongo in Ocarina of time, you have to toss a bomb into it's mouth!
In every game in history the saddest death was little egg boi (R.I.P egg boi) :(
People forget to mention that the penguin suit also prevented you from sliding on ice which helped a ton in some levels

A cat is right, but as a left handed player it aggravates me that they made him right handed in this era, even without proper motion controls as an excuse.

Grievous isn't a robot, he's a cyborg - an alien kept alive by machinery, but the ventilation could use some work - hence the cough. Obi-Wan shoots him in the heart with a blaster and kills him
Decided to watch this since TotK will release this week. Kinda funny how Choc went into the final boss with the exact same team I did.
Here's the answer for the BotW sequel in case you haven't seen it already. Tears of the Kingdom. Such an awesome name to match the feeling of things going from bad to worse in Hyrule.
