I'm about to come back from a combat deployment with the army. I'm currently an applicant on hold, I can't wait to finish up the last of the process, which is the interview. Hope to nail it and become a trooper for the years to come. 😁
If you're white or male or have any history of voting Republican, don't bother. They won't hire you. Go to a real state and apply, like Florida or Arizona.
20 whole weeks? That’s almost as much as a barber… How do they manage to train them to kill mothers and children alike and still learn about the constitutional rights they swear to protect?
Depend of the state, but in many of them, you also need a degree, specially to be a state trooper. In Canada, it’s a 3 years and half formation in college.

Then this job IS for you!
That’s a broad minded & negative way to think about it. Some people do want to be more involved with their community & take on a more difficult, yet rewarding job compared to others.
We the people hooe your training those recruts to not violate the rights of free people, to not think their name is not God! If not then your only setting them up for failure..... And fail they will!!!

Hack Ive been out since 2018. 10 Year 11b with a short tab. I'm gonna leave Texas and head back home and get my dream occupation
Well I will say if I was a Young man again I would absolutely Go into Law Enforcement SpecificallyThe State Police.
It use to be 26 weeks, now they bum rush them thru and teach them less. And they come out more afraid than ever.

Lets be honest. People who want to be police officers do it for the wrong reasons. God complex. Especially small town cops.
