@@PaulTurnbull They were great even though they were only allowed to do 3/4 of a full set which I thought was unfair because they were the last ones to go on that night and Crown Lands had to cancel. The promoters should have let them go a little longer.
I was at this show about 20 feet from the stage dead centre. I saw these guys in Edmonton on the DIG tour and they were incredible. But, they have improved in every possible way ten times over since then. Jake was on FIRE. I was a vocal coach and teacher for 20 years and I can tell you that Josh's technique is superb. I was watching him closely. He is the ONLY rock singer I have seen who nails it EVERY show and I have seen pretty much any band you can mention including U2, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen, Pink Floyd and Rush... these guys were better than ALL of those bands.
@@CJCarson-p5j Hearing that voice come out of that little body is nothing short than a gift from God and the Rock Gods who have come before them. When he sang a capella towards the end it really demonstrated he doesn’t need any help. 👏 The only rock singer that can go higher than him has to be Rik Emmett. His vocals were so damn high at the US Festival it was almost inhuman. 😰
it's not that i don't like josh's voice, i've been a fan of the band since 2017, but i'm sorry, there were rock singers with a much richer and more interesting voice, for example michael hutchence from inxs, and the same jake, his twin, has a richer voice, josh's mouse squeak can't be called the best in the history of rock, he's still far from freddie mercury
