Driving in a Straight Line Has Never Been This Hard [Zeepkist]

Welcome to Zeepkist! Today my friends and I all built soapbox race courses around the theme "Rollercoaster". My interpretation was to build a track that uses rollercoaster-like rails that require the driver to stay as straight as possible to avoid falling off. Let's see how they do!

500 bucks to have zero dead zone so you can make the absolute smallest movements and be deadly accurate

You could just change the deadzone on another controller to 0 for 1/10 the price

@@matt-j6q all controllers are gonna have a little bit of deadzone, either because there not high quality enough to not have deadzone, or because totally disabling the deadzone would make them extremely twitchy and unreliable.
the controller they are talking about is especially designed to minimize deadzone to an absolute minimum, but that requires expensive and finely adjusted hardware

You would have had an amazing time if you didn't press arms up as your spiral exit speed was much faster than in other runs. Anyway nice map!
Also you could probably make a turn with the inside of one rail and outside of the other.

Sorry, coaster nerd here, couldn't leave it lol. Crank shaft? I think the term you were looking for was lift hill lol. More specifically, the boosters you used in Zeepkist function more like a LSM lift or a booster wheel lift.

Me: Not really, Kosmo. The physics in Zeepkist are kinds jank to begin with. Random bounces when landing = Not fine. Amplified some how, making things worse in multiplayer. And no, dont gimme that "They're fixed for multiplayer in v10." Thats a beta, not a public release. The physics 100% need work, buddy
And now that I have Zeepkist myself, the turning needs work, too. They need either a dead zone setting, or have a slider for turning linearity. It's either a tiny bit, or everything. And the between is so damn tiny

That’s… the point of the game? I presume you mean they can only steer/break and only rely on gravity for acceleration, which is what soapbox facing (and by extension Zeepkist) is.
Unless you mean a track with no placed boosters, only gravity. But as far as I know there is no actual ‘w’ acceleration in the game
