the photographers increase in riots company is due to the larger esport scene which takes a lot of people to maintain, cause its all across the globe and sometimes at the same time so people cannot change locations often
Very nice video, gambling and pay to win gatcha games are a really big problem for younger audiences (we all got a gambling addiction growing up with cs) but banning the major way of making money for a lot a video games (skins and micro transactions) would be indeed devastating and I think the parlement realize it. Let’s hope they take it slow and discuss with major actors of the industry such as game developers, influencers and TO’s
I think the number of photographers (camera operators etc) are directly linked to the pro scene of riot games (Lol, Valorant, Tft and broadcasting) since they own and produce all the content involving there ip across different regions
I always thought the case scanner was the ultimate solution to this issue, because it removes all reasons for it to be called gambling. What rather worries me is the biggest german streamer opening CSGO cases for the first time today, ohnePixel showed it on stream. German influencers tend to jump on trends really hard. With online gambling being heavily regulated in Germany I can see them crack down on cases really hard, because unlike lootboxes they offer real return. I think if Valve would get into serious trouble they would probably find a reliable loophole again. Good video as always boss
Good video man, I would not have clicked on that title on many other channels but here I knew it isn't just a dumb clickbait and was proven right after watching the whole thing. Keep it up!
No point in trying to predict if it will and you can't say it wont no matter what, so only the fact that you're asking this question means you should consider it as possible when investing in the cs market
Banning stuff just because kids have access to it is not the solution. Maybe restrict those kids' access to it? I'm in favor of some sort of age verification, something like a premium service where the members are fully verified and have 24/7 access to premium customer support. Valve/Steam need to get a little closer to their loyal customers. After consuming their content and having an impeccable record for more than 20 years, I'm treated no different than a scammer who just made an account two days ago! Their poor marketing, lack of investment and communication with their customers, along with sloppy content releases, makes them look like a neglected, poorly run, low-tier company!
having a "know your customer" with mandatory ID registration to open cases would solve all of this and should be made a requirement for game developers.
Yes they talk about EA most of the time. The difference in them is that EA's system is mostly based on pay to win because of that many kids think that thay need to pay into the game to get better or be able to enjoy the game more. On the other hand the valve system is just purely for cosmetics. One solution that they could make is say you need an id to verify your account to be able to open cases or so if they say kids are not allowed to open them anymore. But that is just my opinion :D
Yoo Ptree, i used to watch your video's and i even participated in your investment challenge 2 years ago and ive recently returned to csgo, glad your still uploading video's ive been enjoying them for the past 2 weeks🙌 (oh and no problem for the 500% ROI on the spectrum cases)
it really is the wild west of the internet though lots get away with fraud, scams, and market manipulation and not just with csgo rust, and even real life scams all in all you cannot remove what funds a entire industry of esports they would need to consider impacts and stuff.
@@blitzkrieg2928 it’s still not over man Wild West is probably near the end for online but you’ve still got some years so much crime and fraud happens online daily
I dont think it will have much impact with this specifically, because you said it as items that nake an impact to gameplay which these do not these are cosmetic and I believe this fact will make it less impactful as there is less incentive
nice video! just wanted to say that in belgium you cant open lootboxes just like in the netherlands, the x-ray scanner only works in france
the photographers increase in riots company is due to the larger esport scene which takes a lot of people to maintain, cause its all across the globe and sometimes at the same time so people cannot change locations often
I still think those numbers are insane but I don't run esports events 🤷♂️
I assume a lot of the people that work on sets for the different leagues are classified as photographers

this is one case where i'd like to see some lobbying from gacha companies and companies to block any new law
I think the number of photographers (camera operators etc) are directly linked to the pro scene of riot games (Lol, Valorant, Tft and broadcasting) since they own and produce all the content involving there ip across different regions
I could see people doing video production also having a photography degree but man at least 450 seems crazy

Make Internet Public and Only be Possible to use with a ID card. Problem solved. Also no more Hackers and Viruses.

Thank you for your research. Appreciate the effort :)

"lootboxes contain forms of expression" oh that's good... that's real good!

the wild west was 12-15 years ago tbh

Riot Has business at 4th place because they dont have a game distribution platform like valves steam
very well made video, your efforts are appreciated

Funny thing in netherlands u can smoke weed and buy sex but not open loot boxes in csgo lol
guess playing games is too dangerous for em
What are your thoughts on CS:GO Having too many majors ? I think 2 majors a year is too much, wish we went back to 1 major a year.
Yeah I honestly don’t think kids should have access to loot boxes. I’ve got over 10k in Csgo but kids don’t need access to it. Can be harming later
I think an age restriction kyc style signup process would be a solution to many of these concerns. Valve will only do it if they're forced to though
My man💪💪💪
