How to apply Temporary Resident Visa inside Canada after getting PGWP | Passport Stamp

Hello guys, in today's video we discussed How can we apply for a TRV/Stamp on your passport after getting Post Graduation Work Permit. It is one of the most important steps you need to take as soon as you get PGWP, because PGWP is just a permit to work it is not a travel document.
So, if you want to travel outside Canada while being on PGWP you will need a TRV for gaining entry back to Canada. Please note that I am not an immigration consultant, I am sharing my own experience through the video to assist you if you are also applying trv by yourself.

I don't have a family/surname name mentioned in my passport (it is blank), my full name is mentioned as 'Amandeep Singh' as my Given Name field in my passport.
Now, in this form what should I mention in 'Family Name' since that is a mandatory field.

I have a question regarding the application. I am married and my wife is here. She has also applied for a work permit and is still waiting for a reply. In the section if I am a spouse of someone holding a work permit or applying for one I have to reply YES. After this, I do not see an option asking if I have a valid job offer.
My question is regarding the Funds available for my stay in Canada? Do you need to provide a bank statement or any proof of funds to submitt with the application regarding these funds? How much should I put in that section ? If I don't have more than 4-5k$ are they going to approve the visa ? Thanks again!

Hi Anand, most probably you might have started an application and left it in between, and then trying to start a new application. Make sure you delete the old one and then start new( same happened with me )

Hi Anju, in the application it asks 'Do you want to submit an application for a family member' Select yes in that and continue with filling family member's basic details. Let me know if you have any questions!

There is no deadline to apply for TRV and it is optional to apply.

Hi ​@@shabroopsingh9625, it is preferred to scan all stamped pages(including one with expired stamp) along with first and last page of passport. Combine that into one pdf and then upload.
